For info, studio are simple rooms, and does not have cooking appliances (maybe adding micro-wave, toaster, anything that can warm up a meal) would be great. I was confused when booking, but happy the management upgraded exceptionally. Thank you.

Clean, and new (stayed in June 2024). I got everything I needed. Make sure if you want cooking appliances to book a separate bedroom suite. But other than that my stay was perfect.

There are only 2 things but they DON'T shadow the Residence's reputation: 1. The night shift man didn't speak english but luckly I can speak some russian 😃 But he was super positive and did his best to help! 2. There was water dropped from the heater and made our backpacks wet but when we informed reception they suddenly offered to change rooms but we didn't change of course but that was very kind.

The place is not super close to the center but we always walked to the center and back. Very comfortable and clean, has all the facilities you need and it is not expensive. I'd definitely stay again if I go back to Riga!

My friends and I rented 2 identical apartments and lived there for 4 days. Both rooms were amazing, next to each other. The hotel has very nice staff, the rooms have all the necessary utensils, there is a stove, a frying pan, a dishwasher, a shampoo, a shower gel, a soap, a coffee machine and several capsules for free. The heat in the room can be regulated. Smart TV that can be connected to the phone. There is a terrace on the roof. Parking was for free. Perfect stay! Thank you!

Excellent brand new apartment in a great location. Very pleasant staff. Beautiful roof terrace. There was confusion about the type of room booked, but it was resolved very quickly and without any issues. All questions were answers and requests met in a very friendly manner. Will gladly stay again!

Everything was absolutely, positively, EXTREMELY perfect.

I CAN NOT RECOMMEND BALCIA MORE!!!! I had such a lovely stay. I was only supposed to stay two nights I think I ended up staying five?! The building is brand new. Everything is sparkling clean. The bed is ridiculously comfortable. The shower got so hot and the pressure was amazing. A/C worked like a charm. It was so easy to contact the staff and they were extremely prompt to respond. The building is VERY safe and in a great location. I just took motor scooters to the city center, about a 6 minute ride. I walked once, it only took me 20 minutes. There’s a little “shop” you can buy premade sandwiches, crisps, drinks and instant noodles at downstairs. So easy, just scan your digital wallet. AND THERES FREE COFFEE that is so good!!!!!! I wish I lived here!

I had wonderful trip to Riga in June. I choosed to stay at Balcia Residence. The spot was great, very close to city centre – you can walk or use electric scooter. The apartment is very modern and new – very well-equipped including fridge and washing machine. I recommend it to everyone who comes to Riga, you’ll never find better place to sleep in Riga!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Balcia Residence for business needs, it was a perfect fit for my needs - the location was next to my business partner's office and in close proximity to the most popular restaurant area, it couldn't have been more convenient. The building is freshly renovated, and so do the apartment. I especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace after my working day.
