Furniture was outdated.

Location is in the middle of the forest, you can enjoy sounds coming out. Owner is kind, always prepared to help. Breakfast was delicious. Five minutes walking to the centre. Parking available, but is an adrenaline ride car ride to the property.

The view is very beautiful. The personell is very friendly. We also took place in the cooking class, which was really fun an we learned a lot. The rooms are big, if you need anything the familiy will try to do their best to organise it.

The hotel is a bit outside the city center (5 min walk), for us it was perfect, you can sit quietly in front of the beautiful mountain view. The staff were really nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay

It’s a steep drive or walk in or out. There is a short cut into town via some steps, but still a bit of a hike.

The room was lovely and the breakfast was great. Beautiful views. Watching cheeky monkeys and mongoose from the balcony. Fridge in room was very appreciated.

Everything

The views are fantastic. The shortcut through the valley walking along a path is like stepping back in time. Just lovely. The terrace area is beautiful with constant entertainment of the monkeys in the trees. ( most well behaved monkeys ever!). Very reasonable price from the son for a tour of the surrounding area and the amazing sights. Small Adam’s peak was a 45 minute hike from the property. Fabulous sunrise.

Great family run guest house - very close to the centre of Ella (within walking distance) Owner was very friendly and helpful in showing us a route to the Ella rock walk. Mosquito nets were provided over the bed which were useful as you are down a little raveen close to a lot of trees so bugs are inevitable. Very peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I loved the stay! The place is really cozy, has a great view on the nature and the owners do everything for you. They were helping me with shortcuts to get to the city, scooter rent, train, and invited me to food and tea. The room was clean, with warm blankets for colder nights, a biig mirror (first time in any location in Sri Lanka for me) and towels. It was possible to open the window to let in the beautiful fresh air. Definitely recommended!

The location was a bit out of town and we needed a tuc tuc to get back and go out. The property is located at the bottom of a steep hillside and our driver couldn’t drive down there. Even one tuc tuc driver asked us to walk a bit. However the sound and view of nature made us forget all of that.

The view from our bedroom was really nice. We saw monkeys, birds and one night our balcony was lit with fireflies. It was magic. The sound of nature made us forget everything else. Breakfast was very good. The owners are extremely kind.

The location and verandah areas afforded superb views and a serene experience accompanied by good facilities . Moreover the family overwhelmed me with kindness throughout my 7 day stay.

You cannot get to the hotel by car. You have to walk or take tuk-tuk, because the road is very steep and narrow. Very low water pressure at the shower

Meh walk to get to in the dark… ceiling in the bathroom is getting a bit rundown

Quiet and tucked away but only a 6-8 minute walk to the main town (albeit a bit hilly). Raveena and her family were amazing. Breakfast delicious. Great views. Cozy room with a warm blanket (you need it at night in Ella). Could walk from the door of the guesthouse to the top of Little Adam’s peak in 50 minutes and then loop to nine arches bridge.
