Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt would have been nice if the café served more than just sandwiches.
Room, and bathroom were large and spacious. The view from our window was lovely. The air conditioner worked great. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Also the rooms were quite. And last but not least the free coffee was definitely a huge bonus.

FinlandThis was already our second visit to the hotel and again, we fully enjoyed our stay! Only two metro stops away from Seoul Station, which makes this hotel convenient for anyone arriving by train or airplane.

The location is fabulous especially for a first time visitor. The staff were warm and friendly. The rooms are huge. There’s a free laundry downstairs in the building. The hotel was quiet.

NorwayFloor mattress was fun though after a few days could be a little softer
Quiet hotel with good access to Insadong shopping street. Listed as 2-star but I think it was comfortable as 3 star. Big space for Korean-style room for 4 people, 2 on bed and 2 on floor mattress. Nice to have a floor table we can set and have Korean-style breakfast or sandwiches from the cafe. Receptionists speak fluent English

FinlandWe had a great time in this hotel! The location is convenient: close to the metro station and within walking distance from Gyeongbok & Bukchon Hanok. Also many restaurants, tea houses and convenience stores right around the corner. The room was spacious and clean with nice amenities. Very friendly service at the reception :)

It is a very nice simple 2-3 star hotel in Insadong with everything you need close by - convenience stores, cafes, shopping places, and not far from 2 subway stations, around 5 mins walk. It is 7 min walk to Ikseondong hanok village and maybe 15-20 mins walk to GyeongBokGung Palace. The room and bathroom were spacious for the 3 of us staying there. They have a cafe downstairs where you can get some sandwiches and drinks. Staff is polite, they speak good English and are always happy to help you. There is a laundry room downstairs where you can wash and dry your clothes, and the hotel provides the detergent.

PolandThe prices might vary a lot - they were very high for part of our stay, while quite low on other days. For external reasons, we had to extend our booking from the initial 7 (cheaper) days and the additional 4 days cost us more than those 7. Still, we liked the hotel enough to accept this rise in price.
Very nice, comfy rooms. We stayed on two occasions, both in the Korean-style room and in the regular premium, and we were very happy with both stays. The location is just ideal for sightseeing in Seoul, with most important places reachable on foot and major subway hubs nearby, the staff are nice and speak perfect English. You can use the laundry room in the basement for free.

United States of AmericaPoor bathroom lighting--had to stand in the bedroom facing the window holding a compact mirror to do my makeup. like most Korean hotel rooms, the lights from various electronics were a bit disruptive to sleep. Fixed the latter problem by taping folded-up pieces of paper over the lights. And neither of these issues was a deal-breaker.
Spacious room for the price point and downtown location. Comfortable bed and pillows, good work desk with decent chair. Great light-blocking window treatment. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well. Quiet room (third floor). Everything I was hoping for when I made the booking. On top of that, very helpful and kind staff. Would definitely stay here again.
