Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaGreat value for money! The rooms were basic but clean with some amenities you wouldn't expect for this price (for example free to use washing machine and dryer). The staff was nice and helpful and the beds were comfy even for tall people like myself.

The best thing about this place is the nice lady at the reception. She is so warm, helpful and very attentive - I’ve never experience such great customer service in a student hostel type of accommodation - SHE DESERVES A RAISE! Also was a BIG plus to see that laundry was for free, and how organized the kitchen setting was for all guest to store food

United States1) I stayed in the room 107. Wi-Fi there was unstable, very slow. I couldn’t use it properly for my needs. 2) The kitchen was not in a good condition. Especially the sink and the garbage bin with no lid on it looked slightly disgusting. In the evening I wanted to sit in the kitchen and have some tea but after seeing it I changed my mind and had my tea in my room.
Location and the staff. Location was number one reason why I chose to stay here. You can find anything you need nearby: supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, there’s even a shopping mall in 2 minutes walk. And the staff were amazing, very helpful, very polite, very demure:)

United StatesThis is a terrific place, the kind seasoned travelers love to stumble upon. It is professionally run by an excellent staff (special kudos to Kadir who went out of his way to make my stay there seamless). It's quiet, comfortable, clean, and with a location convenient to the heart of the city with bus stops just up the street. There's plenty of restaurants nearby, including a fantastic buffet that's a 5-minute walk and open 24 hours with great food (not to mention very cheap). There's a laundry on site; the wi-fi is terrific. The Nomad Inn has it all together.

CanadaVery nice place to stay in Bishkek. It’s « quiet » (for the city) around but there are buses to everywhere that pass by. The Gobus to go to the airport passes a few meters from the guest house. The staff is nice and very helpful. The room is clean and big. There is hot shower with good flow. You can do laundry for free. There is a commun kitchen you can use. Highly recommand!

ThailandI knew I came to the right place as soon as I was welcomed by Mr. Saderbek around midnight. Everyone in the office was accommodating and helpful, despite the occasional language barrier. The room is simple but has everything you need, including a stable supply of hot water for showers, access to a free shared kitchen, laundry machines, and a dryer. The neighborhood has plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants (make sure to try some samsi at Faiza!). While it might not be in the most happening part of the city, Bishkek is well connected by bus, making it easy to get around. If you're looking for a private and peaceful place to stay, look no further - I’d definitely return for my next visit!
