Was modern, beautiful, clean and great location. The amenities were great and we loved the lounge access, especially confectionery in the afternoon. Definitely recommend. We cannot wait to go back!

The room and facility were clean and modern. The staff were helpful, especially at the first floor bar called 'The Bar'. We enjoyed a complimentary experience at the second floor bar, which was great. Lastly, we spent some time in the public onsens. They were clean, quiet, and relaxing.

Not a negative comment, just a comment we didn’t think the toilet roll needed to be replaced every day. But otherwise nothing negative to report at all.

It was modern, clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the lounge facility on level two was excellent.

Breakfast has only two choice. International or japanese style. No buffet available.

Access to the lounge was great. Very helpful people. We could enter the room before the time. All was very clean. Reception always helpful even with the transport of the luggage. We went by Shinkansen to Tokyo and let the luggage deliver by post.

It was briefly mentioned that my fiancé was pregnant and word seemed to have spread through the staff quickly. I really appreciate the extra care and precautions the staff took. Everyone showed genuine concern for my fiancé and i was very touched by all the support. Again, I really appreciate all the staff and their kindness.

This hotel is has a perfect location for staying in Kyoto,the facilities are modern and well design The room is a good size, the bed is comfy and the bathroom has a good size and a good shower The onsen and meditation room are beautiful I strongly recommend the Sincronia restaurant by Shinji Harada we had one of our best dinner in Japan there, the food and the service where outstanding, the chef Amu Mauchi did a wonderful job The second floor lobby is super cozy with a street view and complementary drinks and gourmet snacks, also tea and delicious pastries in the afternoon

This hotel was amazing! Staff were so helpful and the complimentary treats available each day were such a nice way to relax and wind down in the evening. Even tho our room was an internal one - it was very cool with the floor to ceiling windows in the bathroom making it seem huge! Great local services, restaurants and attractions very close by!

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are nice and spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel also has a public bath! One of the other wonderful things about this hotel is an afternoon tea cabinet service full of little treats to have with tea/coffee. I highly enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

Long stay travelers will feel the lack of storage space in the room. The lobby bar is a bit austere.

Would be nice to have more appetiser variety (every night was the same). I would’ve loved to extend my stay, but the price was disproportionate to my original booking (especially when compared to the Ritz-Carlton, etc).

The balcony suite was stunning, and we didn’t want to leave. The bar is also nice with a lot of great drinks for guest consumption, with some interesting appetisers!

The only thing is the bar stops serving at 8:30 and we had thought it was 9 (as that is what is said on the card), and after a full day of sightseeing was a bit too early for us, we managed to use about 10min of it out of the 3 nights we stayed there.

Everything! The room was very comfortable and large with a super king size bed, all amenities and quiet. The station was just outside the hotel and situated in a perfectly central location.
