Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

It was modern, clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the lounge facility on level two was excellent.

Access to the lounge was great. Very helpful people. We could enter the room before the time. All was very clean. Reception always helpful even with the transport of the luggage. We went by Shinkansen to Tokyo and let the luggage deliver by post.

United StatesThis hotel is has a perfect location for staying in Kyoto,the facilities are modern and well design The room is a good size, the bed is comfy and the bathroom has a good size and a good shower The onsen and meditation room are beautiful I strongly recommend the Sincronia restaurant by Shinji Harada we had one of our best dinner in Japan there, the food and the service where outstanding, the chef Amu Mauchi did a wonderful job The second floor lobby is super cozy with a street view and complementary drinks and gourmet snacks, also tea and delicious pastries in the afternoon

One of the other wonderful things about this hotel is an afternoon tea cabinet service full of little treats to have with tea/coffee. I highly enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

The balcony suite was stunning, and we didn’t want to leave. The bar is also nice with a lot of great drinks for guest consumption, with some interesting appetisers!

United KingdomThe only thing is the bar stops serving at 8:30 and we had thought it was 9 (as that is what is said on the card), and after a full day of sightseeing was a bit too early for us, we managed to use about 10min of it out of the 3 nights we stayed there.
Everything! The room was very comfortable and large with a super king size bed, all amenities and quiet. The station was just outside the hotel and situated in a perfectly central location.
