Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaBeds were a little uncomfortable - quite flat with flat pillows - more like camping on my roll out thermarest bed than a soft pillow base. Washing machine facilities were a joke. Washing function made the clothes smell worse, and then the dryer, after an hour, made no difference to when we put it in... - we ended up taking our washing to a local laundromat and re washing (so they didn't smell) and drying for a fraction of the time and price.
Nice location, close to all the things we wanted to see in Kyoto (or a short train/bus ride away). Good sized room for a young family of four. The room was well equipped - nice to have a little bar fridge for the couple of days we stayed. Great bathroom facilities in the room and the ability for PJs and toothbrushes is we needed them. Friendly front desk staff. A great place to stay.

I had a very simplistic, but generous romm with Tatami mats all over, except for the entrance area. The room was modern and very clean. The location of the hotel is very convenient: It’s very close to Shijo station and there’s even a bus stop (for a bus going to Kyoto train station) right in front of the hotel. Moreover, the streets in the neighbourhood are full of restaurants. There was also a very good coffee shop nearby and a good bakery not too far away.

SpainOur stay was very good, if I had to ask for some improvements I would focus on the laundry room and improving the equipment there. The drying is not that efficient. Still there's a good laundry store to do your clothes within 3 mins walk.
Great option to stay some nights in Kioto. Location was very good with several of the main bus lines at 5 mins walk and train/metro stations within 10 mins walk. lots of good restaurant options available in the area. The hotel offers a great value for money option, with bigger than average room sizes and very comfy beds. Facilities at hotel are also good and staff is very welcoming and helpful.
