The walls are not soundproof. I heard a neighbor snoring throughout the night.

Its location; It’s a 10 minute walk to the station in a neighborhood with cafe, restaurants and stores. Matsumoto castle is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel.

The beds in all our hotels were firm, but in this hotel they were rock-hard. I had to fold the duvet in half and sleep on half of it with the rest folded over me, just to have some cushioning.

I wish it had an onsen or sento bath.

All staff we encountered were very pleasant. Daily parking rates were reasonable. Convenient to downtown and the castle. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel is generally nice, and they provide breakfast starting at 6:30 AM. However, I had to catch an early train to Hakuba at 5:56 AM, so I couldn't take advantage of it. It would be great if they could offer a simple option, like bread or pastries, for guests who leave early between 5 AM and 6:30 AM. This small gesture would make the stay even more convenient for travelers with early departures.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly strategic, just a short walk from the station, which made getting around the city very convenient. The amenities provided were complete and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for both convenience and comfort

Breakfast - it was included in the price so can’t really complain but very limited selection. We stayed here for 4nights and we only had it on our first day as it was kinda disappointing.

Good location - 5ish min walk to the station. Two convenience stores were close by (1min to Familymart and 3min to 7/11) Good room size - there was a little table and two chairs and if you move them to aside, there’s a space to open two big suitcases. Also enough space under the bed to keep the opened suitcases which was a bonus!

During our first stay we had a double bed, which left enough space in our room for two chairs and a small table. When we returned for another stay, however, the room had twin beds that only left space for one chair. So even though we didn't spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep, the room was a bit uncomfortable when we were there because one person always had to sit on the bed.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel. Breakfast is a simple buffet, served in the lobby, which is quite crowded and noisy with people rushing to eat before checking out or leaving for the day.

I was surprised that the breakfast tables were just next to the reception area and the elevators, the dining space is not separated.

The rooms are a bit small, and while our room for the first three nights had a double bed and therefore room for a small table and two chairs, when we returned for our final night the room had a double bed that took up so much space there was only one chair and no table, so the bed had to double as "seating".

The hotel's location is very good, a short walk from both the train and bus stations and not far from Matsumoto Castle and several museums. Service was friendly, and about as efficient as one would expect from a rather busy "business" hotel with its crowded breakfast area and check-in/check-out crush.

the water boiler was dated and difficult to use. an electric kettle would be more convenient. no complimentary tea bags in rooms either.

Convenient location and great value for money. I liked that breakfast was included in the price! room also had a full size bath and very hot water! humidifier was included in the room.

I booked a non-smoking room but when I checked in, I was told I booked a smoking room. I asked to be transferred because I detest smoking rooms but they said, they're fully booked and they couldn't do anything about it. Fully booked during the pandemic? I couldn't sleep well and I kept on sneezing the whole night.

Strategically located in an area with easy access from popular sightseeing sites in Matsumoto.

Close to the Matsumoto Station (~8-10min walk). And it’s also very close by the Matsumoto Castle. Check-In is through a machine, where you have to scan your passport and fill out a form. Receptionist will help you if needed. For check-out I only had to insert the room key card back into the machine. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast is free and is from 6-9.30am. Free coffee is until 10am. Breakfast is Japanese style with rice, grilled mackerels, seaweed soup, salad, etc. But there were also butter croissants available. You can either eat in the lobby and take it as takeout with you to your room.
