We love the place, and the location especially Yukio San and his wife Keiko San. Yukio San explained to us the about the surroundings, giving us tips and lots of information. Keiko San met us personally to check how we were doing the whole time that we stayed in their place. They were very accomodating and friendly as well. We definitely recommend their place.

The room is smallish - okay for a family of two adults and two children. If you have large pieces of luggage, you may find it too tight. I think they could have done away with the chair set in the balcony and free up the space for guests to set luggage aside. The fridge is adequate though its freezer space is small so don't buy items that are too big.

Very warm reception from our hosts, Yukio and Keiko. It is just a very short walk from the train station and there is a big supermarket nearby. The room is tidy and clean and the essentials are all provided. A laundry machine is provided - and there are drying racks in the room. The neighbourhood is quiet after dark and we can rest without disturbance, but if you crave the buzz of Namba and the chaos that is Dotomburi, those are just a couple of train stops away. The kitchen and sink area is small but enough to turn around simple meals for a family of four. Microwave is provided and just fine

Aircond really needs to be cleaned up because smells bad every first start until almost 30 minutes. The washing machine is at the third floor. Bed also need to be changed

The rooms were large and many beds for the price we paid, it could have fit 6 people. Small kitchen, 2 toilets and a full bathroom. It is about 2 min walk to the metro with close to many supermarkets and restaurants. The nearby metro allowed us to go to many locations easily by using a one day metro and bus pass. A family run with super friendly host who treated us like a friend. Any inquiry was replied very fast! Yukio and Keiko were thebperfect hosts. We definitely will stay again at the Familiar Inn if we have the opportunity to return to Osaka again. Easy check-in and out.

We had a great time at Yukio & Keiko‘s accommodation. The place was really clean, had everything we needed and was in a good location. The best part was the heartwarming welcome and communication with Yukio & Keiko. I can only recommend staying here and I will come back if I‘m in Osaka again.

I can’t fault. My only fault is that my whole family wishes we stayed longer. I guess that’s my fault though. 🤣

Our hosts were amazing. Felt like we were staying with family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Very clean and tidy with great facilities. Not always easy finding a place for a family of 5 but “The Familiar Inn” ticked all the boxes. I’d definitely stay again.

The bed is a little bit too soft!

This inn near Hanazocho station, easy to reach many famous spots in Osaka, Nara and Himeji. The owner is very friendly, they recommended us good restaurants and cheap super markets. We was late 1 hour for supposed check-in time and they still waited us. Thank you very much!!! The property is spacious and has everything we need for a family with reasonable price!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is superb. And hotel location is 2-3mins away from subway station. Which is only 2 to 3 stations away from namba and shinsaibashi. The facilities are great, and clean too. Me and my family enjoy staying here.

Nothing really... Maybe a place to hang our jackets would be great especially with winter jackets.

The apartment was clean and had a kitchenette with induction cooker, pot and pan, plus cutleries. We took advantage of the facilities to cook a hot meal for ourselves as it was freezing cold winter. The owner took time to explain to us how things work in the apartment which really helps. It fits 4 people very comfortably. What we like the most is the location... While it is not located in popular areas like Namba or Umeda but it is only 2 stations (or 5 mins) away from Namba via the subway. We like the quiet town of Hanazanocho and enjoyed walking around the area. We are also grateful for a supermarket nearby where we can buy our food and supplies.

We stayed 10 nights here ,2 adults and 2 kids , this place is extraordinary! The room is so clean, 3 mins walk to the subway station, there is a big supermarket near here. And the owner couple are so nice, they can speak English well. I will stay here next time .

There is a big supermarket and convenience store near by. The place is clean and have everything we need. We would definitely stay here again if we come to OSAKA.

The room is a little tiny for 5 ppl. We cannot open the large size luggages at the same time.

The owner is very kind and prompt to help and support during the stay. The location is very close to the subway station and on the direction to USJ. The room is very clean.

The host is very awesome. He is kind enough to welcome us during our arrival and guide and teach us how to navgate the area. I love that it is very near a train station and from there we explored Osaka easily. They also allowed us to leave our luggage for free even if we have checked out already. I want to go back here soon.
