Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathtub is quite small. When trying to use the tap to drink water, the coldest setting was still quite warm.
Appreciated that there was an onsen, though we only stayed one night so didn't really make use of that. Great location.

New ZealandThe elevators are a little slower and the room is quite small. We couldn’t keep our suitcases open as there wasn’t enough room. Not a major just being picky
We loved the staff who were very welcoming and helpful! Hotel location is great, central to train stations. We found our room very tidy and clean, with everything we needed for our stay.

United States of AmericaThere were not enough hair tools to have one available in each room, so I wasn't able to have a mirror or hair tool during part of my stay.
The bed was very comfy, and the hotel offers different pillows depending on how firm you like them. The air conditioning was easy to control and worked really well. The bathroom was clean and bright, and the amenities provided (free drinks, bar, onsen) were really lovely.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful if needed. Also the location couldn't be better with the 7/11 downstairs.

United KingdomRoom: The carpet is quite outdated and as it takes over such a big space in the room it sort of brings the entire interior feel down as it's so dark and old. If that would be replaced I could see the room looking a lot nicer and just more comfortable in general. But given you only spend your time in the hotel to sleep, it's definitely not a deal breaker. It's clean and the room smells perfectly fine, so it's not the end of the world. Facility: Being female and looking at the onsen times for each 'gender', I thought it was a tad 'unfair' that males would have access to the onsen at night from 10 PM - 6 AM all weekend, meaning there are more set times for males throughout the week to take and enjoy a bath in the evening/night. It would be great to alternate that maybe bi-weekly so it's more balanced if you stay longer than just 1 week.
Location: It's basically right in the center of Akasaka, you are in the middle between Akasaka-Mitsuke station and Akasaka station, I chose this hotel because it's in the middle of everywhere I wanted to travel to. If you don't mind figuring out the public transportation (super easy with Google maps and a bit of orientation skill) you can get anywhere between 15-40min. A huge plus was the 7-eleven right next to the hotel, it's open 24/7 and your breakfast or any fast meal is sorted. Love! Otherwise, there is a Lawsons around the corner, and you are blessed with amazing food options around, from fast food like McDonald's, Coco Ichibanya, and Yakinuku Like to multiple cool Izakayas and fancy beef restaurants. Room: The room is exactly as you see in the pictures, has everything you need, and most importantly a great AC system that comes in clutch in the hot and humid June weather in Japan. You have the option to not have your room cleaned by putting out a card before 10 AM and you always get fresh new towels and a bottle of water, nice! You can choose a pillow too before you take the lift up from the lobby if you don't like the feel of the pillows in your room. I liked that detail a lot! Facilities: I chose this hotel mainly because of the Onsen aka public bath option. This is divided by gender and the times are marked clearly on the card you receive when you check in. It was a great break every night and exactly what was needed after walking around in Tokyo with 20K steps daily and sweating 24/7 ha

SpainThis hotel it’s relatively cheap, and in the middle of Akasaka, literally the best place to stay (in my opinion) you have everything at less than 15 minutes and akihabara and Disney at 35 mins. Also I feel that this hotel is the best for women, it’s extremely safe, codes everywhere. let’s list the safety features! Past 12:00 pm until 7:00 am the front doors are close and you need to input your room code to get in, there are rooms only for women, for smokers and non smokers, the onsen is hourly base so there are periods were only males or females can go in, when it’s the female turn the door is close and you need to input a code. So yeah, safety is a priority and it’s really good. Also the reception is great and the workers are super friendly. The hotel also have a “work place” during the day and a laundry room with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. The washing machine is 100¥ and the dryer are free, the detergent and softener are also free. Even thou you can tell this hotel is oriented to Japanese salaryman’s, is friendly to tourist and a really good place to stay!
