The location was good for the entertainment/shopping/eating district. We managed to see one Geisha.

Small inconvenience with no parking on site but they have arrangements with nearby paid parking lots.

The proximity to Kenroku-en, and nearby tourist attractions was great. It’s in the city centre.

The staffs whom we have encountered this time were somehow quite indifferent to our requests for assistance. We wanted to sign up for a walking tour and was told that the group was full. Ok we understand. We needed to call for a taxi to go to station, and was told that they cannot call for us.. and they were not able to tell us what was the reason that they couldn’t make such a call from hotel reception desk. As this is my second stay, I just felt that the basic friendliness was missing. We didn’t expect 5-star service but we did not even see much smiles in the hotel this time.

It was my second stay at the hotel, and the first time for my friends who really wanted to try OMO. The location is great, near restaurants and shops, few minutes away from the 21st century museum.

It was in a pedestrian only area which was generally great… but a bit difficult when we wanted a taxi.. just a minor problem.

It fronts a pedestrian street where cars are not allowed until 7 pm. Getting there with bags from the parking lot, a few blocks away, was a hassle. Amenities are available - for example t-shirts, slippers, iron, for small rental fee. There is no tea or coffee available in your room. But bc the room rate was so reasonable, it did not offend me. It was a bit surprising though. Breakfast buffet did not seem to be geared for Western tastes so we skipped it. Plenty of other options nearby.

Everything is new and modern. We had a really good sleep. It was centrally located allowing us to walk to most sites of interest.

As we had to leave before breakfast on our last day it was disappointing that the hotel could not provide a packed alternative, as so many places do.

It’s location was great for accessing everything in Kanazawa and a fun part of town to be in. Staff were helpful and we were very comfortable.

A bit stress to get to by public transportation from Kanazawa train station. Have to pay to rent a pair of pjs.

It was unfortunate that reception wouldn't call a taxi upon request, but handed us a list of taxis to call instead. There were no english-speaking taxi companies on that list, so it took a bit of frantic googling and a wonderful operator who went out of his way to get us a taxi from his company. The hotel was a bit difficult to find on maps according to the taxi company, but we got there!

The room was a delight. So very well appointed and thought out design-wise.

Please note that the hotel states it has a car park - it doesn't. It has links to local parking, which is not at the same address as the hotel, which makes it impossible to find unless you go to the hotel first and get the details. The hotel is in a pedestrian precinct, which clearly doesn't fit if you are driving! Please also note that when you leave, you pay for the parking (at a discount) at the hotel, not at the car park itself.
