There's no staff on site, which has its pros and cons. But they're very responsive and have a wall full of brochures for anything you might need around Nagasaki!

The staffless check-in is ok, but I found the video-taping procedure where everyone has to say their name somewhat intrusive. I also wonder whether how data protection is handled. There is not information about who sees the videos and when it is deleted. Also, it would be good to have a water kettle also on the first floor in the common room, not only on the second. A couple of free tea bags instead of the available razors/tooth brushes would be kind and more ecological.

All very smooth. Easy to find, check in sort of easy but nevertheless a bit cumbersome. Beds comfortable.

Nothing really. A little noise because it's a hostel, but this place was so good overall. Really exceeded expectations.

Easy. Clean. All the facilities you could ask for in a hostel. Great location on the same road as some amazing restaurants. Right up the road from the museum and peace park. Not far from the station. A perfect location for a trip to Nagasaki for the A-Bomb historic sites.

Did not ever see a staff member. Everything worked well from the automated system they had set up, but I would have liked the option of talking to a person. Also, while the rooms felt very safe I wish there was a more secure lock box, or at least one I could put my own lock on. The keys did not inspire confidence, I would not feel comfortable leaving valuables there. Also, the showers were clean and comfortably hot, but seemed to not adjust to a lower temperature at all

Very clean and organized, showers, sinks, common area, and beds were exceptionally clean. Felt very safe and welcoming. Was very quiet and easy to navigate, temperature in the rooms was perfectly on the cool side (but with plenty of blankets provided). Iron, ice water, toaster, and kitchenette in the common room. Beds felt very private for what they were. Everything you need in a hostel and much nicer than I expected for the price.

Nothing was wrong. It was just not accommodation but unfortunately I could not get in touch with other people, I came back late, depart early in the morning.

It’s very comfortable and close to the tram-station and Urakami Station. The Dormbeds are more like big capsuels with a small space for the luggage (it even fitted my big backpack) and there is also a tiny built in table. The showers and powderroom were spacious as well. Since the whole checkin and out process is online I didn’t see any staff but as long as there is no issue that’s fine. The kitchen was a little small and there was not much eating space. I guess if the Hostel is fully booked that could become overcrowded quite fast.

I stayed mixed dorm and it was very comfortably big space . Also, each room has quit enough space for bunk bed. You can bring your backpack in your private room. They have many shower rooms, so I didn't need to wait for the shower. The room, shower rooms, toilet, common area, and the kitchen were so clean. They even have hair strainers, cotton puffs, shavers for free. The location of this hostel is also huge plus. It takes 5min to Uragami train station, bus stops, and tram stops by foot. It was very comfortable and was very quiet even in the daytime. No one was talking in the dorm area and the neighbors were also quiet. I definitely want to come back here when I visit to Nagasaki.

there’s no social vibe if you were looking for it

it was a new clean hostel that didn’t show any signs of being old or lack of maintenance, everything was available and worked without issues. Wi-Fi worked well everywhere and the bed was spacious and comfortable. I particularly appreciated small things they provided for free like towels, toothbrush, cotton buds and even razors. there’s no staff around to ask for help if needed but the self checkin using the web link was easy and quick.

No atmosphere, as in zilch. The common area is set up like a coworking space with nowhere comfortable to sit, just stools at a bar running along the window. No couches or place to really chat with others. Mattress is way too thin. I'd wake up at night with sore shoulders and hips. Location is alright, nothing special. Signs telling you what not to do with threats everywhere give it a very unwelcoming atmosphere.

The dorm room is so much better in real life than the pictures implied. I was impressed. My capsule was very spacious. Plenty of room inside my capsule for personal stuffs. Not at all cramp like some other capsules in other hostels. Everything about the hostel looks very modern, new, clean and stylish. Towels, toiletries were provided. Common room was huge. Internet / wifi was strong. I arrived late at night. So there was no staff physically in the hostel. All check-in was done by entering details on a tablet. Then the tablet showed the bed number. I asked some check-in questions to the staffs using booking.com app and were replied quickly. So i didn't encounter difficulty even though staff was not physically there. The location is excellent. The best way to reach here from Nagasaki station is to take JR train to the next stop, Urakami Station. From there it is just a short easy walk to hostel. I will stay again here.

Because the train accident arrived late yesterday, the landlord has been sending messages to concern, really touched. The bed is very big, the lobby is very comfortable, the bathroom, bath, washing powder are very convenient, next time I come to this hotel

Great location, close to the center of the city with easy access to the trams (2 mins walk). 20 minutes walk from Urakami cathedral for more active travelers. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and shared space facilities. Fabulous value for money!
