There are no big lockers, only small ones for valuables (I could cram my backpack and DSLR camera in there). The big suitcases have to go under the bed, or somewhere else in the room, so there's a bit of clutter because of that. Also, you have to pay for all the small extras like towels, pajamas, slippers,... In other places those are generally for free. But from my perspective those were not big issues at all

Very good location next to the train station. Staff was friendly and explained everything clearly. Otherwise pretty standard capsule hotel, felt rather warm and welcoming too. There's even a laundry room, although I didn't use it. And of course the price is unbeatable

Bit loud in the room because it’s really spacious and there’re more than 30 guests. You can buy ear plugs at the checkin counter.

Size of the room for 4 beds is very small. We are a family of 3 and we just couldn’t wait to get out of the room. The rules for using the common spaces were not great.

The room is huge, which is great. However, it can be a bit noisy just due to how it's set up. I came during off-season, so luckily, there aren't many people here, but I can imagine with a full dorm it would be very difficult to sleep. Also, I was charged $7 more for a Saturday than a Friday. I thought that was a bit annoying but probably common.

Friendly staff, good pizza, nice showers, and a cozy bed. Allowed to check in early, which was a life saver. I applaud them for that service. Hugs to them!!

A very conveniently located hostel, albeit not very well-designed in terms of comfort and sound isolation. First of all, there are no free amenities, but you can rent towels and such. Secondly, each dormitory has a door lock that most people seem to struggle with, making noise at all hours, and what is worse, individual lockers are in the same room where everyone sleeps. There is no dedicated storage space for luggage, and you can hear people rummaging through their bags at night or early in the morning. You cannot store your bags before check-in, nor after checkout, as the staff is busy at the café. On the plus side, the café space is quite nice, the menu looks good, and you can easily get anywhere in Nagano from here.

Many beds in the dorm.

Everything was good, but the dorm room has many beds, like 40 beds or something like that. It was still fine as the room is massive and the beds are well constructed, but this wouldn't be my first choice to stay in Nagano. Location is great, facilities are good. The restaurant/bar downstairs is a super nice space to chill or work etc.

They are quite strict about the rules, which can be a little inconvenient. The dorm is not insulated so prepare some form of noise canceling if you want to sleep at all.

It was extremely well located to go to the train station and within walking distance of Zenkoji temple. There was a few showers and a bathroom inside the dorm where I stayed, which was very convenient. It was clean and well-kept.

It would be nice if the lights in the dorm could be dimmed overnight. It was so bright that it was hard to sleep, even with the curtains to my bunk bed closed. Dimming the lights between 10 pm and 7 or 8 am would be nice!

Everything was well organized and clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Bathroom and shower facilities were great, nice and clean, never had to wait for a shower or toilet.
