Words cannot express how wonderful this lodge is. Mama San and Pappa San treated us like family. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Pappa San even drove us to the station when our bus didn’t arrive. I will be back. Narusawa is a little gem. Thank you for the memories!

The hosts make this place shine. Mama-san and Papa-san are warm and welcoming people who are eager to share information about their country and area. The location is wonderful, with views of Mount Fuji just a short walk away. Mama San's breakfasts are delicious and have a variety of treats to choose from.

The accommodation was very comfortable and really made you feel at home. The owners were very nice and went out of their way to make our stay there in Narusawa enjoyable, from giving us recommendations on where to eat to even handing us discount coupons.

    Nothing.

This lodge is owned by a lovely sweet couple. We felt welcomed and had really genuine interactions with them using google translate to communicate. They recommended an onsen nearby that was exceptional. We also had breakfast both mornings at the lodge and it was very good with generous portions. Everything was perfect!! We recommend this place without hesitation.

Parking space at the lodge is limited. The owners are very friendly, but it is hard to communicate if you don't speak Japanese. The owner tried hard and wanted to give hints where to go, but again not easy to follow what he's going to intend by it. There will be no dinner served. The restaurant recommend was about 6 km away and when we arrived there it was fully booked. We had to try 3 other places until we go one to serve us. Would be great if the owner can help with reservation or check if there is space.

Old wooden lodge in Japanese style with friendly owners how try to help. The breakfast (1500 Yen) was great even if it was a bit messed-up by ketchup. The room is small but for a night sufficient and pure Japanese style (Tatami/Futon). The bathroom and toilets are shared and it feels like using the owners area.

Nothing. My stay here was perfect.

The location of the Lodge is very convenient. You are close to many pretty viewpoints for Mt. Fuji and the Aokigihara forest is basically next door. The accommodation is absolutely lovely. I had a warm welcome of jazzy music, warmth from the inside and mellowing lights comforting me. The interior of the building is decorated with all sorts of antiques. The structure of the building is also nice, with spacious rooms and an amazing living room. By far, what made my stay the best were Papa-san and Mama-san. An adorable couple that built this stay over 34 years ago. They told me they've done lots of renovation and painting themselves etc. The breakfast was also insanely tasty, yum! These kind-hearted people were here to accommodate every need i had. They brought me tea, wanted to drive me to my busstop, shared stories and sweets with me, helped me figure out my bus, let me store my luggage (even though my check-out had already happened) and so much more that i cannot begin to list here. Truly, i admire them for their efforts and kindness. Thank you, Lodge Stackpoint!

With other guests in the lodge you may hear walking and talking at night.

Papa and Mama san were extremely welcoming and made our visit very enjoyable. They showed us the local onsen for a traditional experience as well as the local hiking trails. The communal table allowed us to meet other people and gain more insight into places to visit and food to eat!

The place is very cosy and peaceful. The hosts are wonderful, they were treating their guests like their own family, checking all the time if we needed anything and indulging us with cold tea and coffee. I also recommend the nearest onsen, especially in the evening when it' s not that hot.

The best place to stay in Saiko lake area. Papa and Mama San were amazing hosts. They treated us like family with plenty of tea, coffee and cake! Not to mention, their breakfast is amazing and worth the extra cost. The Japanese style rooms were beautiful and the whole place was cosy. There was an amazing onsen nearby too.

We didn’t mind it at all but the doors on rooms don’t lock

It felt like a home away from home, it’s very quaint with lovely views around. Mama and Papa always put the fire on to ensure it was warm. The futons were surprisingly very comfortable. Wonderful to have exceptional home cooked food made with love for breakfast, bonus points for catering to vegetarians. Onsen with insane mt fuji views 10 minute walk away (discount provided by hosts). Great conversations, such lovely people to be around!

It was our first experience staying with owners in the same house. We felt like living with relatives. The host suggested the activities, bus transportation schedule, where to find foods etc. We ordered breakfast from the host the next morning. It was more like a formal dinner with Japanese green tea, soup, big plate of foods, breads and desert. It was so good that we finished all and didn't feel hungry at lunch time. It was a rear opportunity know Japanese family and we really appreciate the host open their home and tried their best to welcome us.

Delicious breakfast! Well-balanced, vegetables, protein and gut health. Cozy lodge! The owners always made sure our room and hallway are always warm. Our kid loves them!! Very kid-friendly and always made sure our kid was always entertained. It's very close to an onsen and close to Iyashi no Sato Nenba, and Aokigahara Jukai. Communication was great! We will definitely stay here again!

No complaints, the place is a little outdated, which is a part of the charm.

Super nice hosts, very friendly and talkative. Got a massive breakfast in the morning. Very close to yurari onsen where we spent several hours. Fantastic nature and view's of Mount Fuji.
