The staff is nice and friendly, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the free shuttle bus from Kyoto Station to Hotel is so much helpful and convenient. The nearest train is just 5-10 minutes walks , I will definitely come back again!

Facilities: warm dishes at breakfast could be warmer, they are all cold when I put them onto my plate. Options are a little not enough, not really good value for money. Pillows are too harsh, not comfortable for me, maybe could provide one softer option.

Location: close to subway within 5-minute walk, easy access to city centre and also some tourist attractions: Hamo River, Kyoto Station. Facilities: free drip coffee and Japanese green tea pack at the front desk, self-help laundry rooms, and public bath, all are comfortable and convenient. Service: no staff step into the room during the stay, which is stress free for me.

It’s located away from main attraction. There’s not much to do within immediate walking distance. However there’s hotel shuttle bus that runs through to Kyoto station (though it was down 2 days out of 5 we were there). There’s a subway entrance just 2 min walk away and we used that a lot. Money wise it’s worth staying here and use public transport to the main attractions.

The hotel was better than we expected. It’s like a little gem and full of surprise. A 5 star experience on a budget. Fresh towels provided everyday, super comfy bed, clean and spacious room complemented with a beautiful public bath that has cubicle for shower. There’s also bath in the room. Toiletries provided at reception. We can see Kyoto Tower from our room. Ramen shop opposite the hotel. Family Mart, 7 11 and Lawson within walking distance.

Check out is 10am. Rather early. Small thing but they offer you sheets and towels everyday that you have to change yourself. They don't have housekeeping everyday. Do leave your trash out so that they can clear it. The rooms look bigger in the pictures.

Super good value for money. Very clean. Fuss free. Near to a train station albeit not a useful line for my needs. They provide a kit to wear to go to their public bath on the 1st floor.

The amenities at reception are not available from midnight to 6am, so stock up if you intend on getting back late.

Exceptional value is a near new immaculate hotel, 20 minutes was to Kyoto station, 1 minute walk to the subway, 15 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari. The onsen was also immaculate. The laundry was ¥300 and dryer was free. I stayed here for 1 week and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying for a couple days

Really clean and modern looking interior. Room was perfect size had a nice view of downtown. Location is right on the Karasuma line, so it’s in a great location.

The duvet in my bedroom was too hot and ended up sweating every night.

The public bath was great to relax at the end of the day. Staff were always available and helpful.
