Maybe a good idea to have equipment instructions in English as well as in Japanese .. the only surprise was their tariff of a latd check out....13000 per hour !

Perhaps replace small dining table and chairs with small couch, but otherwise nothing to change.

Staff here are amazing - so incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming! Location to ski lifts is brilliant, but a little further away from convenience stores, however a daily shuttle to supermarket provided. Bathroom doubles as a drying room which was perfect - great idea. Hybrid restaurant in same building is a must do when visiting - incredible meal. We loved Koharu Resort

Super helpful and responsive front desk staff, clean room with a nice kitchenette for our shabu shabu nights. Walking distance to the Sakka lifts. Love this hotel, would love to come back again!

Modern building and a great size room. Great view of the mountains from our window. Kitchen area was well stocked with pots pans etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Daily shuttle bus to the supermarket if needed Discount Happo lift pass tickets available from reception. VERY CLEAN unit and complex over all. Ski lockers down stairs.

Bit far from the centre of Hakuba, but that was a known cost for the privacy and woodland environs of Wadano. The ski storage required a walk outside (in slides), but was otherwise fit for purpose. Couch had a big coffee stain which seemed a bit out of place considering how great the facilities were.

Excellent location, big room by Japanese standards, private, lots of bonus extras such as winter gumboots, own washing machine and all necessary cooking utensils plus free shuttle to supermarket, and extra cables for computer connections. Lift was fast and effective. Close to places to eat locally, amazing restaurant downstairs- wish I used it more.

The location is awesome, a two minute walk to a ski lift. There are a few restaurants nearby that were very good, and the restaurant in the hotel was excellent. There is a ski equipment rental shop in the same building which was super convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, even the floors were heated. We had a babysitter come and stay with our daughter while we skied and there was plenty of room for them to play. We loved the kitchenette for easy meals. There are not any stores nearby, but the hotel offered a shuttle to the grocery store at 16:30, which was clutch.

Cosy room. Heated floors. Fully functioning kitchen with equipment. Free shuttle to and from the Happo Bus Terminal. Close to Sakka Slope. Rental shop and eating places are beside the hotel. There’s also a resto in the hotel.

it was too short!

great hotel, the studio was very confortable, clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, nearby the Sakka chairlift. A complementary shuttle service was available to go to the Happo bus terminal and also to the local supermarket, which was super convenient. We loved our stay at Koharu and definitely recommend this place. We will come back!

A bit far from the better Hakuba restaurants. No convenience store within walking distance (there used to be)

We stay there 3 years ago. this time we were disappointed by not being able to have any program on the TV but in Japanese....last time we had CNN etc. when we told the staff, a girl came up to the room and said in the end that it did not work(we knew that) and gave us a Gadget to connect but that was rather useless, in the end we used our mobile phone...via you tube with limitations...likely we did not have grandkids with us as we planned earlier. Also internet super slow and as we are both self employed and need to connect to our business at least at night....it was not good. Also we like to cook that is why we do Self contained, and the cooking facility are very limited not much as the stove that could be a little bigger, but in the selection of pan.....only large.....one small cutting knife.... Anyway, the snow was great and we had a good time on the slopes etc and made the most of our stay there.

Nice and warm at the end of a hard day on the slopes.
