AustraliaAs we stayed for approx 10 days a slightly bigger room would have been good but it didn't mean we didn't like the place.
The service of offering a discount for parking was a great surprise. The cleaning staff were very accommodating. The local was the best - we could walk, or train, or tram or drive. And we used all of these modes. We didn't do breakfast in the hotel (nor for dinner ) as the restaurant had an "average" review. As there were so many other choices it really didn't matter to us. The room was adequate given we were out most days.

Australia- There was some emergency road work when we stayed and the noise lasted till after midnight. Not the hotel's fault though. - Room keeping staff probably didn't understand the English note we left behind, they made up our beds despite us asking them not to. Didn't bother us too much however. They have also mistaken our own slippers for their complimentary ones and disposed of them. - Would be best if there were more bathrooms in the lobby.
- Extremely convenient location. Literally opposite the JR train station (both local and shinkansen/bullet train) gate entrance. Door to platform around 5mins. - Lots of food options around. Two convenient stores within half a minute walk. Big shopping centres next door and opposite the road. Five minutes walk to tram and bus stops which takes you to most parts of Kagoshima. - Staff efficient, never had to wait to be served. They are able to communite with English fairly well. - Lots of free toilet amenities available in the lobby (free for guests); apart from the usual stuff (toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, toner, cream, shower cap, cotton buds, razors etc), they also have shaving gel which is not that common. Very thoughtful. Bath salt available. - Spacious room in Japanese standard. The bathroom is very nice. The showering cubicle and bathtub were comfortable. - TV with youtube and netflix function was nice. - We didn't use it but people can keep their luggage in individual lockers at the lobby. - Beds, pillows were comfortable. - Daily refilled complimentary bottled water. - Nice to have a late check out time of 11am.

Comfy beds, tall bathtub with a shower that had good water pressure, the shampoo and body wash smelled nice. There's also free luggage lockers that you can use in the lobby, even using them for a while after checking out of the hotel; which was good for our travel plans.

SingaporeThe hotel is right next to the station which makes it easy to get to even when it was raining. Even though there was no breakfast, there are plenty of options around the area for food! I really enjoyed the amenities, especially the bath salts that were provided. I had a good soak for both nights I was staying and it was relaxing after a long day of walking and exploring. The room is spacious and allows me to open my luggage without any problem. I appreciated the microwave oven for me to heat up food conveniently even though it was late at night.

CanadaBreakfast is unexpectedly poor. Not much choice, and is in Japanese style. Front desk staffs don’t speak much each. On Apr 9, the tall man wearing glasses, told us we cannot leave the luggage in the hotel for one day. On the next morning, Apr 10, when we checked out, I asked once again to be sure. And was told we are allowed to leave the luggage at the self service locker for 24 hours. Thanks to Ms 福田, I hope I wrote her name correctly. She is short, speak and understand English. She even showed us how to use the locker.
Location is unbearable. Right next to JR Sinkensen exit. Lots of shops and restaurants a round the area. Transportation is great too
