To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaI wish the hotel had a gym or an onsen facility, it really didn't have any facilities on offer. The breakfast had both Western and Asian options, but found it exy for what it was. You could get breakfast cheaper outside.
I loved the location, so close to shinjuku station for easy access and to get to other tokyo stations and Narita airport. I really liked it was not in the centre of the noisy hustle and bustle, but easy walking distance to it. The double room was a decent size for tokyo standards, enough room to open and keep open my luggage and still enough room around the bed and use the table and chairs. The bathroom didn't feel small and pokey. Great laundry facilities, I just had to load and it washes and dries. A bonus there were machines that didn't need you to bring your own detergents.

AustraliaExpensive for such a small room and a bit cramped for luggage. The two small elevators appeared undersized at busy times for a hotel of that capacity resulting in long waits on occasions. No ice bucket in room.
Very close proximity to Shinjuku Station South Gate ensured great access to Tokyo's brilliant train system. Nice robes and onsite laundry facilities

United KingdomWe had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and really helpful in getting us settled (as we had sent our luggage ahead of us). The room was really comfortable and larger than I had expected. The breakfasts were great too with a good selection of asian and western. Used the free water dispensers a lot, and even washed/dried some clothes at the laundry station which was very convenient. The location is fabulous, we figured out how to get out of Shinjuku station (south exit) and to hotel in 5 minutes! Was so close to everything but super quiet in the hotel. Would definetly stay here again!

AustraliaI went solo, but with my partner, the room would feel a little smaller than I'm used to when travelling.
It is located perfectly. Walking distance to the main train lines. Has washing and drying machines, which helped a lot during summer. Breakfast was pretty good, nothing over the top. It's close to a lot of attractions such as Golden Gai, Govt. Metropolitan Observation and Kabuichiko. A Family Mart right at the entrance that's open all the time - so you'll always have access to food, drinks, etc. If you're into fast food, there is also a McDonald's near the entrance too.

AustraliaThe room is on the small size and you have to be organised with your luggage to make everything fit, but it's very manageable. I think for Tokyo standards it's pretty good.
The location of the hotel is superb, right next to Shinjuku station which will virtually take you anywhere you want in Tokyo. After a long day sightseeing you want to be close to a station to rest your tired legs. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful, with someone on reception all the time.

Excellent location with major shopping malls within walking distance. Shinjuku Station is just a few min walk. Would be even nearer if you exit the station and walk from Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Hotel to the hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable! We enjoy our stay thoroughly!
