Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaOther family members of ours had a few issues with their rooms- one family had an issue upon check in, where a staff member couldnt find her booking but it was definitely booked on booking.com. This was sorted and a room was given after about 20-30mins. Another family of ours had issues where they had come back to their hotel room from a day out at disneyland to being locked out of their room with all their belongings still in the room. When they'd gone to question it, the same staff member we had dealt with earlier for the previous family said we had cancelled her booking (she cancelled a month prior then rebooked again- the room had free cancellation until 48hours prior to check in) and they were trying to charge her full price for cancellation of 3 nights, for a cancellation she done a month prior in order to be able to get into the room again. The staff member couldn't figure out what had happened- couldn't find the rebooking or even the date that it was cancelled despite showing her the proof that it had been rebooked on booking.com. After much frustration, she reluctantly gave access back to the room but not without hesitation and in anger. Us on the other hand had no issues with our room check in or booking but clearly a better system is needed. Cons we had of our own would be wifi- wasn't the best but not bad either. The fact there is only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for an entire hotel. So it was hard trying to get a machine to do washing and the dryers are useless, took 4-5 hours to dry half a load so you're spending more and more money trying to get dry washing. You pay 100Y for 30mins I think it was. Machines only take 100Y coins. Disney shuttles stop running at about 3pm so if you miss the last shuttle you need to find your own way back to the hotel. Walk to the nearest 7/11 was about 10-15mins. Only get one tiny rubbish bin per room so we found ourselves constantly over-filling the bins or needing to take rubbish downstairs.
Buffet breakfast was available. Location to Disneyland was great! Very clean-great cleaners! Mini fridge and clothes hangers available. Free slippers and toiletries available in the lobby. Staff are very friendly and helpful (besides the one lady at reception as described in cons above).

PhilippinesProperty didn’t have a vending machine so we had to walk to the nearest convenience store during wee hours to buy bottled water
The property was lovely and was close to some shopping districts and playground areas within the vicinity. My 3 year old son particularly liked their complimentary stuffs, mini library (near the front desk) and the kids buffet section.

United StatesI hope they offer more shuttle service during the peak season. We went there on a weekday and they had to turn away three people who wanted to get on the bus from Disney to the hotel.
We stayed here so we could afford a 2 day experience at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Sea. The bus was very helpful - just get there early on the way home because it gets crowded very quickly

United KingdomThe room was rather small for 2 sets of bunk beds. It was difficult to find from the train station on arrival. For an Ibis, the value for money wasn't the best.
The hotel was good for the basics. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was good with a nice shower. The location was ok. There wasn't much around but it was perfect for Disney and they had a shuttle bus taking you to both Disney parks as well as the local metro station.

NetherlandsThe staff was not very friendly to us, regarding early check-in. There was no restaurant to have a drink, it was only open for breakfast. It was quite far away from the Disney parks, and although they offer a free shuttle bus, the timetable is very limited.
The room was the biggest we’ve experienced in Japan. There was a convenience store nearby.

IndonesiaThe hotel facility is very limited considering the small land area of the hotel, there is no garden nor large outdoor space. The room amnenities are also very standard, for instance there is no coffee maker nor instant coffee available inside the room.
Ibis Styles Tokyo Bay provides free bus shuttle to Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disneysea and Shin-Urayasu train station for hotel guests regularly every day. The hotel is not big but charming for family since most of the hotel guests are Tokyo Disney goers. The room design is also attractive for family, especially with small children. The room rate is affordable comparing to the similar hotels in the same area.

United StatesThe rooms are small; typical for Japan. The in room small refrigerator is hit or miss, as most of them keep things slightly cool at best, not cold.
Location is good. Couple of blocks to the train station if their bus times don't meet your needs. Few blocks from a grocery store with several food options. Money exchange machine in the lobby which we have found both convenient and a good exchange rate.

United KingdomThey provide microwaves for residents as the restaurant is not open in the evening. Why can they provide some paper plates, disposable knives, forks, chopsticks etc. I'd be happy to pay a small amount for the provision but there is nothing currently. A strange thing...make yourself at home by heating food up here but by the way we'd prefer if you eat somewhere else.
Comfortable and relatively spacious rooms. Bit too much Disney for a gentleman of my age...well don't stay so close to Disneyland you retort!

SingaporeShuttle bus only stops at the parking bay at Disneyland. It does not stop at the alighting bay. So alighting on a rainy day is very bad, especially windy too. Disappointed that i was not informed of the breakfast timing, so did not realised my booking comes with breakfast.
Shuttle bus is available to and fro disneyland.

PhilippinesI WOULD HAVE LIKED IT IF COFFEE, SUGAR AND CREAMER SACHETS WERE PROVIDED IN THE ROOM IN ADDITION TO OR INSTEAD OF TEA SACHETS. WE WOULD HAVE WANTED A BIGGER ROOM BECAUSE ALL 5 OF US WERE CRAMPED BUT I GUESS THE SIZE OF IBIS ROOMS WORLD-WIDE IS UNIFORMLY SMALL.
1. THE FREE SHUTTLE TO DISNEY LAND AND DISNEY SEA WAS A GREAT HELP. IT SAVED US MONEY. 2. THE OTHER AMENITIES AVAILABLE WITHIN THE BUILDING WERE ALSO APPRECIATED SPECIFICALLY THE ICE CUBE DISPENSER, THE VENDING MACHINES FOR DRINKS AND NOODLES, MICROWAVE IN THE LOBBY AND THE COIN OPERATED LAUNDRY. 3. AustraliaThe only thing was that the top two bunks that the children slept on were half covered by an overhanging alcove - so either the lower half of their legs had to be under it or their heads. Strange design, and they slept poorly as they thought they were going to walk their legs against it in the night.
Excellent for trips to Disneyland as they have a shuttle. Convenient shuttle that takes you back to the metro station, wish we’d known we could catch it to the hotel also! Great amenities including pjs and more.
