We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe ventalation on the fifth floor. When people come in drunk there alchoholic breath stinks up the room. The air is not changed enough throughout the night so the "alcohol breath" just gets thicker and thicker. One night I left and sleep on the couch in the common area.
It is a well run hostel.

United States of AmericaI stayed in both the dorms and a private room. My only complaint about the dorms is that it was way too hot in June. They needed to increase the AC. Other travelers commented on the heat as well. Tough to sleep in the dorms but the private room was great because I could increase the AC.
Nice staff, great atmosphere, and very good value. I stayed here a few times while walking the henro trail. Excellent spot and the staff are wonderful.

I loved the fact that the breakfast was included. The common are was nice to spend time by your self or meet people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The had like a garage downstairs so it is very nice if your carry a lot of stuff or, like me, a bicycle.

Can't beat this price quality ratio. Honestly wondering how it's this good for the money! Don't expect a 5-star hotel, but everything is clean, well managed and staff is extremely helpful. Free breakfast is the cherry on top!

AustraliaI liked the hostel side of meeting people from around the world and sharing experiences. The location is very central with lots of transport connections and restaurants nearby. This was handy for my "Henro" pilgrimage activities. The staff are very helpful. I liked it so much I kept extending my stay as my travel/sightseeing plans evolved.

NetherlandsIt was somewhat uncomfortably warm in the dorms. Like everywhere in Japan, bathrooms are quite small. Lockers are only large enough to store a few small valuables, no (small) bags.
Hostel in a good location, close to the station and a conbini. Staff was super nice and helpful. They allowed me to store my luggage while I was walking for a few days, which many hotels will refuse even if you will stay there again. It was nice that there was some breakfast offered for free (although not super filling).

A very friendly hostel, good English spoken and the staff were very helpful. A free breakfast is provided (tea, coffee, toast and boiled egg) and the common area is a great place to meet other Henros/pilgrims. Our room was a bit tired but clean and comfortable.
