Restaurant downstairs wasn’t the greatest value for money but food was ok.

Perfect location with a short walk to Happo One, bus stop out front for some resorts and short walk to bus terminal for other resorts. Had its own onsen which was great after a day on the slopes. Generous size room and microwave downstairs for anyone to use.

Location and ease to get to the different mountains was brilliant. The staff made a very much appreciated effort to approve of my request prior to arrival. The view from the taproom where you have breakfast each morning is breathing taking and very special.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Panorama Hotel in the end of January and had an exceptional experience! The hotel is in a great central location to the bus terminal which was super helpful for skiing all the local resorts. The staff at the hotel were the most friendly people ever! They helped book dinner reservations for us, gave us skiing recommendations and we were lucky enough to make friends with their employees. The Onsen in the hotel is the most perfect way to finish a long ski day! Highly recommend staying here during your trip to Hakuba!

While the ski/board/boot room was convenient, it was a bit small and got crowded at the end of the day. When we came off the slopes late in the afternoon, we had very few options of where to hang our boards and place our boots. Our family’s equipment ended up being spread all over the room. Not a deal breaker by any means though. Also, if you don’t have a car, it could be a bit inconvenient to eat anywhere other than the tap room.

A great hotel within walking distance of the Hoppa-One lifts! A hearty buffet breakfast was served every morning in the first floor tap room. The onsen was clean and enjoyable. The ski/board/boot room was located conveniently at the entrance to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. The tap room had a great selection of beer, with a knowledgeable staff. The food and atmosphere were fun.

That I had to leave.

I have come home from Hakuba so incredibly happy. I cannot fault anything about my stay. The staff at the Panorama Hotel, and everywhere in the village for that matter, are so beautiful and willing to go above and beyond to assist, something that is not that common in Australia. From the minute we booked the staff were in touch to offer assistance in arranging our transport, lift passes and lessons. This made our arrival 10x easier. They were also happy to accept and store our snowboard in advance as we were travelling around Japan prior to Hakuba and didn’t want to lug it around with us. I had a minor hiccup with my plans and the beautiful ladies at Panorama were able to fix it for me in a matter of minutes. The accommodation itself is quite standard for a ski village and suited our needs just fine as we were out all day skiing. Waking up on the first morning to it snowing and a view of the mountains from our room was something else! Having breakfast provided made things a lot easier before a full day of skiing and the restaurant and bar on-site was a great way to unwind after a big day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and cannot wait to stay again soon.

Hotel was located in a convenient location near the bus terminal, large rooms, laundry facilities, and a restaurant located within the hotel that had a small kids play area (lifesaver!). What was exceptional was the customer service before and during our stay, to help us organise things like lift tickets, lessons, gear etc.

Staff were so helpful from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided great assistance with liaising with ski hire place, luggage forwarding, restaurant bookings and even helped us at the train station on our departure. Onsen was perfect after skiing and was never crowded. Breakfast was great. Simple selection but what was needed prior to hitting the slopes. Location is just out of main village area but east walking distance to slopes and village ski shuttles were great to get to diff mountains. Overall had the best time and would definitely return to Panorama!

The staff was really nice. we accidentally left a Switch charger and only found out after they dropped us at the bus station. They found the charger and returned it before we boarded the bus. Thank you! Good beer on premises, quite a selection of microbrews.

If I have to pick a thing- I would say maybe add a happy hour? Other than that, all was pretty fantastic!

Emiko and other staff were amazingly helpful in finding anything we've asked for including daycare, ski passes, rental places. Additionally, they've also provided pick-up and drop-off services! The room we were in had a bunk bed and it was fantastic for the children. The had a great breakfast buffet with daily variations. They also have a great restaurant right down in the lobby with a taproom full of local draft beer. Great and easy access to Happo One and the bus station with Lawson close by. There was also a hot bath (onsen) right in the hotel!!

The limited choice of cooked food which was quite greasy. Rice and miso soup seemed available only during the weekend.
