We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

It was so nice to be able to walk straight from the Shinkansen to our hotel, which is located steps away from Hakata Station.

This hotel was excellent in every way: location, cleanliness, aesthetics, comfort and size of room, amenities. The breakfast was very enjoyable! The hotel staff takes extra care to assist you. The check in and bell staff were very efficient and pleasant. The breakfast staff were busy, but still took time to greet you and smile to make you feel welcome. The pool was a welcome amenity.

GermanyUnlike the Miyako in Kyoto, this 208-room property is not associated with Westin/Marriott. The hotel is relatively new, around four years old when writing this. We picked the Miyako Hotel Hakata for its excellent location right adjacent to the Hakata train station. The reception is on the third floor. The staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms are excellent - very spacious and bright. Fully equipped with any amenities you might need and with fantastic beds and pillows. The lights, curtains and drapes are controlled by a tablet on a bedside table. The hotel features a lovely outdoor pool on the top floor amd also has a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We tried the ten course dinner and it was very good. When in Fukuoka we will pick the Miyako again. One of the top hotels we have stayed at during our many hotel nights in Japan. I'll be staying here again if and when I'm back in Fukuoka. One of the best hotels l've stayed in in Japan. Top facilities and large rooms that feel 5-star luxurious. Beautiful bath (though not the biggest) with little details like shaving cream amongst the soaps and shampoo. Hands down the coolest bathrope (in place of the usual yukata / Public bath garb).Great looking bar and restaurant though menu isn't huge. Unbeatable location right opposite Hakata station.

CanadaFor me, there was no coin laundry on site which was a little bit of an inconvenience but it is not a mark against the hotel at all because it is a more luxury style of hotel. While they were very accommodating for breakfast and other dietary preferences, the flavour was just okay.
The service and the facilities were exceptional. I liked the way everything was presented. Decor was well thought out and everything in the room was great. I loved the amenities provided in the room (coffee, tea, etc). All the tableware were also very classy and beautiful. Breakfast was filling and they were willing to accommodate for dietary preferences.

SingaporeThe bed is a bit too soft. It would be good if the shower area is separated from the indoor spa bath as I noted a few occasions where water from the shower got into the bath when careless users were washing off the shampoo from their hair too keenly.
It’s proximity to the train station (it’s actually directly connected to E7 exit). The room is spacious and has all the amenities. Free entrance to the spa.
