There wasn’t any coffee in the room but an easy fix following a trip to 7-11!

Was a nice spot to spend a few nights in this hot spring town - is just a few moments to walk up to Kin No Yu, and a few minutes down to Gin No Yu. Check in was really straightforward, and all the staff in the hotel were so friendly and welcoming. The bath and shower were very nice, and never had trouble getting access to the shared facilities.

Toilet was one floor down, and showers on the ground floor. With the onsens in Arima being the main attraction, you might not need the shower, so that's actually a lesser problem.

It's right in the middle of Arima-onsen, with both Gin & Kin onsens nearby. The room we had was quite spacious. The breakfast was really good - Ryokan style.

Room is not soundproof. I was disturbed by other rowdy guests despite the warning given to all guests. I did not file a complaint.

Beware it is quite hard to get to the hotel if you have heavy luggages, lots of uphill roads and stairs.

Very helpful and friendly staffs. Room is well equipped with fridge, ipad-mini, TV etc. You'll be able experience the most calm and natural arima in the morning before tourists arrive.

Great traditional lodging with a very nice modern room in the middle of Arima Onsen. Small shops and restaurants at the doorstep. Super friendly staff giving great tips for the stay. Perfect japanese breakfast. If you walk from Arima Onsen station, it is a bit up the hill.

The water at the basins are not heated 🥲 Went during the winter so it was really cold. However, the baths had hot water.

Really clean. It is in the heart of Arimaonsen and hence is reachable to many places within a few minutes. The silver onsen is only one minute away! Staff ensured we had everything we needed. Extended one more night here because we were so comfortable.

Nothing. Didn't expect that it was Japanese dinner as we preferred Japanese dinner. Nevertheless it's a pleasant surprise. Note that there is no elevator and the rooms are from 2nd floor onwards.

Nice place to stay with helpful and friendly staff. The hotsprings are nearby by foot. Please remember to use a translator app or similar as it will help you to communicate with the staff since they mostly speak simple English.

Not for light sleepers as it can be very noisy at night depending on the other guests. Rooms on the 3rd floor (top floor) may be better in that regards.

Uncomfortable for people who visit from overseas where people aren’t used to sit on Tatami mat. If the provided beanbags were slightly bigger, it might have been much better.

toilets located at level 2 but no toilet at level 3, and unfortunately my room at level 3, 😁 but it's fine for a night.

we received a very warm and sincere welcome, it is clean and comfy, walkable distance from train station, good location for exploring and to onsen pools. I would like to apologise to the staff/owner for me calling a bit loud outside the door when checking in, as I have difficulties to open the door which with 2 lock levers I couldn't figure out how to open.

Probably the location was up a hill but there is nothing much to do about it. It is what it is Maybe the hotel name could be more visible as I had a hard time finding it

The staff there was super helpful, as i was having some technical issues. I called the owner and within 30 mins, his staff was at my room , helping me with the issues, and it was 11pm. really appreciate it

The property is near to the shopping street but it was located on the uphill side. Take note if you have big suitcases. The room size is perfect for a single. A spacious bath/shower room is available but kitchen. Shared toilets are located at the 2nd floor.

At first night it was smelling curry even on the second floor. But the smell was gone the next day.

I had a very nice and tasty breakfast. They upgraded my room without any extra fee. Very kind staff. He even give me a ride by his private car to the onsen at night. On the way to the station you pass by a narrow street full of little cute shops. Thank you very much 😻
