Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was very nice! Very convenient for the aquarium and was pretty close to the station. You also got a yukata which is really fun! The bed was nice and clean and plenty big for one person, definitely could fit 2 if you wanted!

The staff is amazing and super friendly, explaining everything to us. The rooms were comfortable for the four of us. Theres bar and some food that you can order as well from the owner. The location is close to many attractions too. Highly recommend 👍🏻

It is very near a train station (although you will need a few changes to get into city proper), walking distance to the Aquarium, there is a free ferry operated by City of Osaka that gets you over to Universal Studio city, if you choose to train it to USJ, it is less than 30min. Lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby. The person in charge (Mr Kan) is friendly despite not knowing much english.

JapanThe location is perfect if you’re planning to go to USJ and Zepp. There are restaurants and shops nearby. It’s also close the the train station. The property is well maintained and very clean. The staff was awesome! Very friendly. Explained everything properly, gave information on how to ride the ferry and where to get taxis. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable enough. I like that the AC is not centralised, so I was able to adjust it to the temperature I like. I’ll definitely go back. Thank you!

It was an amazing experience . The owner was very nice since the beginning and he helped us with everything. The amenities were clean, organized and well presented. Also we appreciated that they provided soup, shampoo and borrowed towels for free. The owner was always smiling and receiving us with a warm greeting. Definitely I will come back to this hostel and I won't hesitate in recommending it to everybody.

The location was great, easy access to the train and also very close by to popular attractions like the Kaiyukan Aquarium, Tempozan Marketplace, and the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. Also a 7/11 right around the corner, and lots of nice izakayas to eat at during the evening. The host was also very friendly and accommodating, gave a map of the nearby places around that you could eat at or check out!

GermanyReally nice stay if you want to visit the USJ! The owner is super super nice and friendly, he gave us a really good feeling! Its the easiest way to go fast to the USJ since you just have to take the ferry (for free) for two Minutes and then just take the metro for one station. The owner told us everything we Need to Know. the rooms have a good size and everything you need. He also provides a very expensive and high quality hair dryer and hair iron! ^^ Thank you so much!

GermanyNice people/owner, great location in vicinity to the aquarium; and universal studios are easily reachable by a short ferry ride. The guest house has everything needed: Shared fridge and showers etc. there is an elevator for luggage but not for persons (so people with special needs should know but for us the luggage elevator was sufficient). A grocery store is very close for breakfast. Was a nice stay, would go it again.
