We loved everything about this quaint small hotel. The staff spoke excellent English, the little touches like the welcome snack, all of the free amenities, the free drinks in the fridge, the amazing bath and toilet…I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place. Thank you SO MUCH to the amazing staff!

Our window looked out at the neighboring building, but the screens still allowed us to get natural light and privacy.

Everything was wonderful.

Every aspect of this hotel is excellent... reception with traditional Japanese candy, free coffee/tea/juices every day, mini bar was stocked with water, beer, juices, and sodas, for free, and free delicious udon soba every night. High-standard and spacious accommodation, very comfortable bed, linings and pillows, very good tube and shower. Dedicated staff that make every effort to help and make you experience Japanese hospitality.

The breakfast was really good, a Japanese meal. Drinks in the mini bar were complementary and there was tea and coffee available throughout the day. The bathroom and a warm air dryer to dry our washed clothes. In the evening they offered a ramen bowl but we weren’t there so couldn’t tell you what it was like.

Just the hair on the toilet seat. But it also wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was fantastic !!!

Very nice welcoming ritual, we got a sweet treat and tea upon arriving. Room is extraordinary and luxurious. Found a hair on the toilet, but other than that - everything was absolutely perfect !!!! The staff is very very nice. Super tasty breakfast

The staff were fantastic. They were extremely helpful and polite. I speak Japanese, however my wife doesn't. They really made an effort so she could understand everything. Their English was really decent. They treat you with dango and tea upon arrival and you get to choose your bath salt for the bath! It's located on a very calm street, walking distance to the station and the sightseeing locations.

One of the few hotels where everything was above my expectations.

This was one of the best hotels, we stayed during our 3 week Japan trip The welcome was warm and friendly. The hotel is new build and everything is clean and cosy. Drinks in the room are for free and every evening, a Ramen will be served, also for free. We had an amazing time in this Hotel. Thanks a lot to the whole staff!!!

We were welcomed by staff and they helped us with any questions we had. Always provided us with a clean rooms! Hotel provided amazing Japanese style breakfast for guests, also hotel offers delicious soup and noodles in the evening! We have had on couple of occasions! Delicious! Hotel staff had organised reservation for the restaurant, provided excellent recommendations! We had the best meal in Kanazawa so far!!!

The property was in a wonderful location. After taking the train from Tokyo to Kanazawa, we just strolled from the station to our hotel. The hotel is also close to the main sights, including the market, gaisha district, and palace and park!

That's a pity that there isn't an onsen in the hotel but everything was perfect!

This is the best hotel we stayed in Japan (we changed 5 hotels in different places)! The welcoming and the goodbye have been very warm, the staff was amazing and really kind. The atmosphere was relaxing, the room was big, amazing and clean, exceeding out expectations. During the evening they serve udon for free.

Great hotel, fantastic value for money. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Great location to explore from. Walking distance to Kanazawa station, Omicho market and a great selection of restaurants. Our room was relatively small but lovely comfy bed and fine for a short stay.

Excellent location near Kanazawa Station and Omicho Market. Lovely staff who were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed and special. The room was well-configured with various storage space and surfaces to place our personal items and the decor was modern and charming. The bathroom was really nice and the ofuro tub was just big enough for two. Everything was very clean and it was quite quiet. Highly recommend if you want to experience an intimate and relaxing environment in the middle of the city.

Smaller room, size wise, in comparison to western standard of course since we are in Japan. But otherwise all the amenities are present, efficiently placed and of high quality.

Excellent location, elegantly decorated, original and charming establishment (modern but classic), outstanding service, and staff. Truly deserving a five stars rating for the accommodation and exceptional service. The best among all the properties (4+ - 5 stars) that we stayed during this trip. All the details and amenities of the room are first rate, and the service is just outstanding. For example, we were pleasantly surprised and honored that the staff even left a bag full of water and drinks replacement outside of our door on the day that we requested for no room service. In summary, the hotel is comparable to small, unique, and exceptional boutique hotels of the world for us.

The Japanese breakfast was delicious, but my husband would have appreciated a European option.

We loved this small hotel! The small Japanese style courtyard and beautiful fresh flower arrangements in the foyer were so welcoming. The room was beautiful, distinctly Japanese in style. The bathroom was exceptional, wet-room style, with the staff offering scented bath-bombs (and Japanese sweet treats) on arrival. When we left we were given a small gift as well. A perfect romantic stay.

If you want breakfast, make sure to book ahead of time as they may not have space to accommodate later.

Great location just beside the Omicho market and a short walk to all the attractions. The staff were extremely attentive and they offered complimentary ramen and drinks. The check in and check out was extremely smooth and easy, and they gave a small handmade gift bag with snacks for the journey. The room was very nice, with beautiful design leading up to it. Shower and bath were very large with good pressure and hot water. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Overall just a great stay, and incredible value for the price. It spoiled us for the rest of our trip as the hospitality was much better than even hotels that cost 4x as much. If you’re visiting Kanazawa, you should stay here.

Was a little far from to walk from the station carrying suitcases, but we knew that when we booked, and there were plenty of buses and taxis

Staff were amazing! From the warm welcome with complimentary hand made dessert, mini bar, complimentary udon in the evenings and the most comfortable bed we've had in Japan! Can't rate highly enough, if we're back in Kanazawa would be the only place we'd stay!

Usually there's always some fault you can find with even the best of hotels but I cannot think of any here at all.

Really lovely place. From the moment you walk in you can tell this is a high quality establishment. The staff are friendly and helpful; I cannot fault them at all. Beautiful rooms, especially the bathrooms. Free drinks including coffee/juice/milk/hot chocolate in the foyer available at all times. It's a bit more expensive than the usual places we stay in but absolutely worth it.

Beautiful hotel. Tastefully decorated. It was our favourite stay while in Japan. The staff were so lovely. Breakfast was traditional and kept us going for our mornings out walking and sightseeing. The tea and coffee station in the reception area was fabulous. There was nothing we didn't like about Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi!

Our room was perfect, so clean & all the ammenities you could hope for. The beds are comfortable & the bathroom in particular was above and beyond the expected standard. The free tea, coffee and drinks station is also a nice touch. Staff were excellent! There are plenty of 5 star hotels that could learn from this great Hotel! Thanks to the staff for making our stay so comfortable!
