Pillows could be a bit softer and thicker (my personal preference) and I think on some occasions the trains could be heard running as well, but it wasn't a serious issue. Just something to note for those who are looking to book!

Second time staying here (first was in October 2023), even recognised some returning staff members and very good and friendly service. Breakfast and ramen in the evening is great too. Of course - the public baths were great as well, though for those who have tattoos it is going to be a problem, I would advise to email the hotel staff and ask if covering them with a special sticker of sort is acceptable or not in case this is a deciding factor. You get a set of clothing, which can be worn at the entirety of hotel premises and a small desktop mirror, which can be useful for folks who shave their heads in order to get a rear and side views in the process. Ironing equipment can also be rented and you can also use laundry services. Very good location if you want a nice spot in Akihabara with access to trains (two stations nearby!), very easy to go to most key locations in Tokyo and only one stop change to Haneda airport. Lots of useful shops nearby, along with Bear Papa's pastry shop under the Akihabara station bridge!

At first. The hotel look old, and using 🔑 instead of card. I thought everything is bad. But the detail of their service is really excellent. The free big bath at level 9. Is jaw-dropping. And they give you so many free stuff that I don't want to spoil it to you. Is a really must book if you traveling couple or family.

The rooms were pretty small and for two adults with two suitcases left no room to walk, there was no proper bathroom sink so we had to use the kitchenette for brushing teeth and washing up, no reason to open the blinds there's no particular view out the window

The public baths were comfortable, the treats after the bath were perfect and the night noodle soup was tasty, staff was nice, location is great, most amenities were available either by the counter or in the room

Room size are small but that is to be expected in Tokyo. Early check-in requires additional payment. Staff seemed a little distant, but they may have been just shy.

Location is smack in the center of Akihabara, no problems in getting to anywhere in Tokyo, It is close to several lines in easy walking distance. The main station even had JR ticket office for your Shinkasen needs. Plenty of food options and always a buzz around the place. The Baths on the top floor are a God send for weary traveller, free ice pops, Yakult and Ramen in the night is a nice touch.

Not much except that the sink and hairdryer is at the end of the bed, outside of the bathroom which is a bit strange but space efficient.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. I really liked this hotel because it felt pleasant to come back to after a long day out in Tokyo. Great location in Akihabara, it’s in walking distance of all anime and electronic shops as well as being near Ueno station for day trips to nearby cities. There’s also a proper supermarket nearby with fresh bentos and sushi. The onsen, free ice pops, ramen and probiotic drinks were super cool. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would book it again in the future!

The room is very small, I booked one room for 2 people and another one for one person, they were the exact same room but for some reason i was charged more for the 2 person room.

Booked this for the onsen, did not disappoint. It was really nice and clean and i very much enjoyed it.

Only because I stayed in the Ikebukuro branch before, I will say the breakfast spread could have been better (Ikebukuro offered a full buffet while this was a limited selection, albeit still delicious!).

The staff were really amazing, they were patient and answered all my questions. The onsen also sets this apart from other 3-star hotels. There was enough space to fully open my luggage, which I can tell you is never a guarantee in Tokyo! Dormy Inn never disappoints and I hope to stay with them again!

They should have advertised in advance that people without tattoos cannot use the spa and bath facilities. If I had known that from the start I would have booked somewhere different.

The room was very cosy but instead of having a 2nd sink, it would be desirable to have a closet to keep some belongings instead of having to keep the clothes in the suitcase. Still, I understand this was a design choice made in the past. Overall, great experience!
