We felt a bit 'watched' and 'followed' around by a minder at the free drink time on the patio even though we were being respectful of the offer.

We have stayed here 2015 2017 and delighted to be back. Lovely good sized rooms and bathrooms all very clean. The patio area with free teas and coffees is a great retreat after a busy Tokyo day. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Location has the subway nearby and train station not far. Great eating places just a walk round the back streets! Bar in the hotel foyer is very handy as well.

If you wanna make sightseeing, then the hotel is well-located. There is a metro and a JR easy to walk to. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

The only complainst are that the hotel really feels like a business/conference center, so it didn't have the charm of other hotels we stayed at in Tokyo, and the rooms feel a bit outdated, but still it was extremely comfortable and the view from the room was great. One day our room really smelled like cigarette smoke, even though we had a non-smoking room. There was an air purifier in the room which we used, but this was a bit offputting.

Beautiful view of the city from our room with a nice couch to sit and enjoy the view. Very comfy beds and an overall very clean room with all the expected amenities (slippers, pajamas, robes, soap, toiletries, iron and ironing board). The free coffee/tea/wine/beer and snacks in the common room was nice, especially to sit outside on the terrace after a long day of sightseeing. Good central location in Tokyo.

Not great room temperature control and room airflow. Somewhat stuffy. Can take a while for temperature to match thermostat. During the day, the room can get very warm if curtains are open. Recommend to have curtains closed during the day when you’re out.

Good location and great view of Tokyo cityscape. The room was little bit small with not a lot of wiggle room for luggage. Room had everything I needed. About 5-10 minute walk to train stations dependent on where you’re going.

A slightly lower value for money rating for our second stay than the first, as the price per night had gone up by about £80. Presumably due to time of booking and/or weekends vs week days, but nevertheless

Updated bathroom otherwise no other cons.

We liked the this location for exploring Tokyo, not a super loud area and convenient to subway. The room was spacious by Japanese standards and beds were comfortable. We had a long hike to our room which was fine but would say the bathrooms could use some updating for the value. Everything was clean just a little dated. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The air in our room was very moist. I think the rooms (at least ours) could have benefited from a dehumidifier. It didn't harm our stay overall. The lounge area on the 14th floor wasn't very special. Definitely a decent place if you need to work but doesn't seem to be ideal for relaxing because the outdoor patio area gets very little sun and the snacks and beverages in the afternoon are pretty meager.

The breakfast and staff are phenomenal as is the lobby bar. The breakfast has traditional japanese as well as western options so there was something there for everyone. The staff do their best to help you out including helping us find the best sushi in the surrounding neighborhood, etc.

On the pricey side - we paid around £230 ($285/€268) per night for 6 nights. That was during early April though. Considering the distance from the more tourist areas of Tokyo it's a lot. However it's a really nice hotel in a more calm and quiet area so it depends on what you value. Door to door it will probably take around 30-40 minutes to reach Shinjuku - walking to Tamachi and taking the Yamanote line. The rooms are on the small side - but I guess that's just how it is in Tokyo?

Clean, modern and stylish hotel in a quiet area. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nice lounge area with free tea, coffee, pastries and even some alcohol options (at a certain time of day). Close to Tamachi (7-10 min walk), Shibakoen (3 mins) and Mita (5 mins) metro stations. Well away from the chaos of Shinjuku and Shibuya in a much quieter area which I loved, but that might not be for everyone from a convenience perspective. It depends what you're looking for. Plenty of convenience stores and food options in the area depending on what you want to eat. In the room you will have absolutely everything you need - they do the small things very well. Bed is extremely comfortable - you'll get a very good sleep.
