Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyThe cups in the room for tea and coffee and in the bathroom for brushing the teeth were disposable paper cups, reusable ones would be better. Likewise, the chopsticks at breakfast were disposable and not reusable. I've booked a single room, but the bed was queen size, which made it difficult to move in the room, even though I'm skinny. A normal sized bad would make it easier to walk between bed and table.
Room and bathroom were clean. Cleaning was eco-cleaning every third day. Breakfast was very good, buffet style with a lot of choices, 7-10 am. However it got really crowded at the weekend when I went for breakfast after 9 am so it's probably better to have breakfast early at weekends. Luggage was stored at the lobby before check in and they used a QR code system to make sure to give the correct bags to the respective owner. When I contacted the front desk that the WiFi hasn't been working for one day, they immediately did something and even came to my room to make sure everything was working again.

PortugalIt took us 30min to check out as the lifts were being used by all floors and there were no stairs! Breakfast is poor, mainly meat/fish and vegetables, i.e. not many options.
Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom are very small. We had luggage and it was quite difficult to move around the room. Location was okay and 1min walk from a subway station

AustraliaCentrally controlled temperature, feeling rushed at reception where checkin was more complex than necessary since everything was organised prior online but we somehow also purchased a packet curry on check-in that we didn’t want or need. There was mildew in the bathroom e.g. door back, sections of wall and ceiling. We could wipe off much of this with a damp tissue and soap but shouldn’t have to and could be easily and better done with cleaning products.
Great location, well equipped and secure room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good baggage storage, and good breakfast.
