To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomSome staff can come across as rather short, I understand there is an automated check in/out the machine was not overly user friendly. The hotel is only near 2 small stations. One extremely busy and the other - the underground - a bit further of a walk away
The hotel was as described. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom although compact had all that was expected. The extended check out procedure was exceedingly easy to request through the TV. Lawson inside the building is handy as amenities nearby are somewhat lacking although a familymart is about 7 minutes walk.

PolandThis Hotel was very busy in the morning and in the late evening. I wish there were more elevators. Sometimes it was a bit tough to reach our room, but nothing too bothersome. Due to congestion I also wish that there were more ice machines etc. on other floors.
Very good location, close to a JR train station, restaurants and shops. Convienience store in the hotel was great for late night snack cravings. The decor was also really nice :)

United States of AmericaOnly thing that was a but negative was the slow elevators during rush hours and the occasional feet odor smell coming from the A/C in our room. But when we extended our stay for one day, we got another higher floor room with great A/C.
Mostly everything was excellent - customer service, housekeeping, cleanliness, etc. The location of the hotel in Ryogoku and view from hotel was great!

AustraliaThe room was smaller than I was expecting, but definitely served its purpose of a comfy room in a great location! A shame we didnt get to experience the spa as our flight didnt land until 10pm and we had to leave by 10am which is when the facilities opened! Our fault though!
Very convenient as it was very close to the Ryoguku Station! Lots of convenience stores around. I loved how friendly the staff were upon arrival, especially for us who are English speaking! We didn't get a chance to use the facilities but what we did see looked fantastic! They also held onto our bags after we checked out so we could explore Tokyo!

United States of Americapool was not open (it was HOT in June 2024); there are only 6 elevators, 3 for upper floors and 3 for lower floors, they would get very busy at "rush hour" (but they did have signs cautioning the guest about it); being an eco friendly hotel they sure did have a lot of packing (everything is wrapped in a single portion), and people at breakfast were using non-reusable coffee cups (make the to-go or take-away cups as item that has to be specififclaly ASKED for, not readily available or in front of the coffee machine).
Location (near two subway/train lines), value for money, cleanliness, ease of check-in/out, breakfast selection was amazing, there is an onsen/spa (must cover your tattoos), there were very reasonable laundry machines, comfy beds, everything is there in the room on a smaller scale, they had interesting "tutorials" on appropriate cultural behaviour and how to use the hotel facilities (very helpful), also a 24 hour convenience store (Lawsons) was brilliant (I forgot some socks, and all their snacks were so inexpensive!), fast wifi speeds (no issues), staff were soooo friendly!

AustraliaWhen we were leaving not being able to get a shuttle bus to the airport.there was 8 of us with luggage. Taxis unable to cope with amount of people with luggage. We had to take two taxis and subway. Very expensive and three train trips. Not enough English speaking staff.to many times towels being changed unnecessary. America now only change towels when requested. Not being able to put out a don’t disturb sign. When I put it on the inside of door. The girl put it on the front. Not her fault only doing what she is told.
Central to many tourist attractions. Subway close, food outlets close.

SpainThe lifts. Due to the size of the hotel you invariably had a long wait to catch the assigned lift. Also the mini size of the rooms made it difficult to organise yourself.
Well located near the Ryogoku station. The onsen facilities were very acceptable considering we were in the centre of Tokio.
