To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Location’s convenient to Haneda and central Tokyo. Short walk to Oimachi’s three train lines. Tons of nearby stores and restaurants. Typical Japanese business hotel. Rooms are smallish but well-equipped and immaculate. Service is flawless. Low price. Nice breakfast included.

JapanThe single room is small so a better design and layout of the furniture could go long. A small desk under the tv should be enough. Get rid of the sofa and table in the 10square meters room.
It is close to Oimachi station and has easy access to Tokyo downtown. The front staff was welcoming and friendly.

NorwayWater pressure (of a shower) was a bit weak. The room was clean and well-managed, so it didn't bother me but the room was bit aged. But again, as I wrote above, the price was low considering the great location, so it's really fair. I would love to stay here again!
Considering the proximity to the city centre (plus, the proximity to the nearest train station), the room rate was very low. The room was compact, good enough for one person, got everything I need and works just fine. The breakfast was great with full of choices. Free coffee by the lobby. All staff were nice and helpful. 5 min to the station and lots of shops nearby. The area was surprisingly quiet in the evening, that was a big bonus for me. There were 3 washing machines (with additional charge), seems suitable for a long(er) stay. Would like to come back and stay again.

JapanRoom was a little cramped. No particularly scenic views; that doesn't bother me but it may bother some people. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Nothing about it was bad per se, but it has the same problem I tend to have with a lot of hotel breakfasts, which is that it's a lot of side dishes and snacky foods with nothing really to center it around. A few examples of foods they had include a salad station, bite-sized omelets, bacon and/or sausage, tater tots/potato gems, biscuits, and little fruit or yogurt cups.
It's pretty close to Oimachi Station. The room came furnished with all expected toiletries (except maybe toothpaste). Wi-Fi is simple to use and reliable; you just use the SSID and password provided with your room documentation, no registration required.

United KingdomThe hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the JR Ooimachi Station. Close to banks, shopping area, ¥100 shop inside Ito yokado and restaurants. Room 202 is a double bedroom but there's no chance that two people have enough space to stay. Small room but clean and tidy. Electric kettle, cup, towels, toiletries also available. There is a self service coffee machine and you can access anytime. The breakfast was great! I do recommend and may book again in future.
