- We had a problem with the a/c; one didn't work and the other spilled liquid all over the floor (we were not advised on how to use it). - The sofa bed was not the best. - We couldn't lock the door from the inside. - And we couldn't find another roll of toilet paper.

- The location was very nice. It was very close to everything we wanted to see. - It was cleaned and tidy. - And it had a cute garden. For what you are paying, what you are getting is good.

When we arrived the hallways smelled of garbage (the host said from the neighbours). We have lived in Venice before so we know about the rules of garbage. There was also old food in the fridge. The beds need updating and the pull out couch needs to be replaced- very uncomfortable and smells . There were no duvet covers so the blankets for the bed had germs. We needed an inexpensive place to stay because we got stuck in Venice because of a train strike. In general could be very cute apartment for price but needs some updating.

The host took care of the city tax registration. Coffee pot. Clean bathroom. Good shutters for sleep.

The whole apartment is not so clean, bed sheet and pillows not ready by check in.

The staff was helpful and was willing to provide any information you required. The room had very good temperature and was warm and welcoming when you entered.

the apartment balcony is not the same as picture post on site. actually, it has no balcony instead of the big balcony show on site. very deceiving. Change the picture, or say that it is not for all apartment.

the apartment is clean, only one air conditioning machine in the hall way so you have to let the bed room door open or it will not be cool enough to sleep. distance from waterbus dock is about 10 min.

Sheets were unclean when we arrived, and the kettle didn't work, though they fixed that the next day after we raised it. The cleaner came to the apartment on our first night while we were out, leaving the lights on, with no notice. The WiFi didn't work (despite turning it off and on again!) the sofa bed was noisy creaky, hard and uncomfortable, and the bath mat and tea towel were grubby.

The shower was a bit slow at times and seemed to have an issue with water draining. This meant we could only use it for 5mins or so every day. Nevertheless, we managed but not ideal. Mattress was a bit thin in places on the sofa bed… meant I could feel the springs underneath.

Location was amazing, room was tidy and clean and the host very good at answering any questions. Easy to find apartment and decent local supermarket/restaurants nearby.

Overall wish for this apartment to be a bit cleaner. E.g. there was the web in some places. Or we used a sofa and there was stale bed linen inside not taken off.

We stayed in this apartment for our family weekend in Venice. The apartment is in a beautiful place in the center of Venecia, close to San Marco square. The apartment is on a historical site, so the building is old, having Venezia's charm. We stayed there just to sleep, and it met our expectations for that price. Easy to travel by walk or Vaporetto to any historical place. There are nice bars and restaurants nearby.

The wifi is quite bad if more than one person want to use it at the same time. The facilities are fine but not great, especially in the kitchen. It's also a rather dark apartment.

The location is really good - especially if you're there for the Biennale, nothing is far away and you can get to restaurants/supermarkets etc. quickly while having a relatively quiet stay. Also didn't have any issues with the hosts.

Everything was good. It just depends on expectations. From some previous comments I understand that people had a lot higher expectations but did not check the real world before complaining. Price/location/italy/venice etc ratio was good. Wifi works, TV works, shower is small, but works. It was clean. St. Marco very close. Next to the apartment there were lots of nice restaurants. So.

First and foremost be prepared for digital detox since the wi-fi rarely works. Hence not recommended for workaholics and digital nomads. Second, adjust your budget accordingly as you’ll be spending more in restaurants given the poorly equipped (or not at all) kitchen. No microwave even though it was included in the room’s description. Thank heavens the coffee machine worked, as we needed it a lot! Truth be told most of the pictures do not depict our room in any way, there was no patio (exterior area). Overall we find the apartment’s description and the photos misleading as, in fact, you don’t know what you pay for until you arrive. Quite a disappointing experience and not the best value for money, sadly.

The location is perfect for anyone who wants to visit the very center as well as other parts of Venice and major tourist attractions. The beds are comfy, the host very kind and helpful. If you’re an admirer of a vintage Italian style you’ll find the interiors very pleasing to the eye.

its the season of heat wave 😔 could use an extra or proper air-conditioning than air cooler.. could have provided at least two or three air cooler and could have explain that we cant leave the window open as mosquitos can come in the apartment
