The room was very small as was the bathroom. They are probably the smallest hotel rooms we have stayed in. The shower in particular was extremely small. The water pressure in the shower when the hot water is used was very poor making it hard to shower easily. Because if this our rating would be an 8

The hotel is in a great location within a 10 minute walk of San Gimignano. It is located on a quiet street. The view of the countryside from our balcony and the hotels pool and garden was exceptional. The pool and garden are beautiful. The breakfast on the poolside terrace was excellent. Our balcony off our room was large and well equipped with a beautiful view over the pool snd the countryside. The staff were exceptional. Based on this alone our rating would be 10.

The shower was very small. The mattress was so soft, I felt like sinking when sleeping. Breakfast had plenty of things, few of them with good quality. It seems things were bought in supermarket with no quality at all.

The location is stunning. Gorgeous view from our bedroom. Lovely facilities and very friendly staff. Michael greeted us when we arrived and really went out of his way to make our stay great. If you read this Michael, thanks for being awesome!

The parking fees; important to note you have to book well in advance and it's €15 per day. Remember to bring your own towels, there is an extra charge of €5 per towel. For "hygiene reasons" you cannot use towels provided in hotel room. The air conditioning in our hotel room didn't function correctly. When we raised this with the staff we were told we had it setup incorrectly, we changed accordingly, but the room remained stuffy and warm. Can't pay for drinks, snacks as you go - everything is added to your room charge for payment on checkout. A personal preference would be to pay as you go along, but this was not an option.

The location was excellent, it was walking distance to the town centre, which had an excellent variety of cafes and restaurants. The views of tuscan hills nearby were very beautiful. Access to a swimming pool is a bonus, as not many hotels have one in this location. Most staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked a parking spot but when we arrived the reception said that we need to move our car because they overbooked. But overall it was not a big issue because the was cheaper parking nearby. Also one weird thing is that the bedroom only had one socket so one of us had to charge their phone in the bathroom.

Room was really small and reminded me of a little ship cabin. However we had a big balcony with exceptional view. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and I slept well. I really loved the breakfast which was the best in our whole trip around Tuscany. The hotel is very close to San Gimignano and took a few minutes to walk there.

rooms were small and a bit outdated. but if you go in knowing that I think it adds to the charm. pool is nice but smaller than it looks in photos. can be a bit tight to get a car in and out of the spots but that is the same as everywhere in Italy.

Our rooms were quite small, so upgrade to a bigger room plus one with a view. Definitely worth it! Minor problem with water heating throughout the hotel, but it was resolved very quickly. You need a car to reach it as it is not accessible by public transportation.

Many thanks to the hotel staff, especially Michael and Lucia, for a most warm welcome and wonderful stay at the hotel. Breakfast was one of the best we've had! The view was great, and it was a great take-off point to see other Tuscany towns like Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano instead of Florence.

The room was very small. Not space to move around. The restaurant at the hotel was not good. Not at all up to expectations. Breakfast was good but other meals very basic and uninteresting.

Comfortable bed..a kettle in the room and a lovely view from the terrace. Breakfast was good.

We didn't like that we couldn't use the parking on the premises and had to park the car on the road. Even though the weather was scorching the pool was closed (end of April). The room and bathroom were tiny.

Very nice hotel, nice location, personal and breakfast. The only problem is the equipment, e.g. electric prised not to size, missing toilet brush, etc.
