Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomUnfortunately ( or if you like fortunately ) the Hotel was host to two commercial events - one was a Press event for the local car industry ( in its own way very interesting ) the other was a scientific conference The combination of the two events made breakfast and services levels fall below the expected standard for the private visitor
This is a NH restoration of a traditional building - It is all done very well and the old parts are magnificent The building forms one side of a 18th century planned square and is fully restored and maintained to a high standard

LatviaTo get into the gym, you need to make arrangements with the reception and wait for an employee to open the door. It would be much more convenient to have independent access with a room key, like in other hotels. Otherwise, everything is fine, except for the cost of the room, it is a little overpriced. Turin is a city where you want to stay for 2-3 days. And the hotel fully met this desire, but not the cost.
Excellent Italian architecture. Beautiful atrium and restaurant area. Good gym under the roof. Underground parking with a narrow entrance, like everywhere in Italy)). The staff helps with parking and luggage. Nice room with a room for work. Comfortable large bathroom. Clean. The staff is very helpful. There are rooms with a view of the square, but we were unlucky - the windows overlooked the side street opposite the windows of the neighboring house.

United StatesPillows could be of better quality for such prices. . One individual in the restaurant was not very welcoming. She was Apologetic after realizing I was a guest, but non the less was very rude.
Location, front desk staff and restaurant manager were fantastic. Facilities were historic, elegant and beautiful. Front desk staff went above and beyond to be accommodating and informative.

United KingdomOur room had a bathroom door that wouldn’t close, let alone lock. Parts of the shower were coming apart. The shower stall was small. The lighting in the room wasn’t always adjustable from the bed. The reading lamps were ineffective

United KingdomThe breakfast area is too small, excellent breakfast selection but an awful coffee machine ( please make it fresh) and not enough seating as there was a coach party plus a conference on so lots of people and we had to wait for a table.

Very spacious room and bathroom, with both bathtub and shower. Very clean, well located, staff very helpful and friendly, and I really appreciate that even the checkin was at 3 PM, we arrived several hours before and we got the room. And the breakfast was divine, I think is the most variated that I've ever had in a hotel. Good location, everything was perfect

United KingdomThe room was very hot as there was an electricity saving policy in place imposed by the local authorities and the air conditioning was limited until the average external temp was higher, if you opened the windows it was noisy as Turin is a vibrant city at night.
Perfectly situated within walking distance of most things, including the railway station, which gave us easy access to Milan. The hotel bar was fantastic at night with a full range of drinks, including cocktails.

BrazilShower could be much better . Air conditioning too. We could not decrease the temperature of our room and had to ask for a fan to allow us a better sleep. Wi-Fi was not working during our stay in our room and we had to move to another room as they could not fix the problem overnight.
Wonderful historical building and location at Piazza Carlina. I would recommend for anyone booking a room in front of the Piazza. Those are the best rooms and have a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast by the courtyard.
