Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThin walls! Sound travels easily, although we couldn't quite understand the words.
We had a Prestige room facing the Med. It was very well appointed and comfortable. Excellent restaurant, with many local dishes. Their summer season was just starting, so we were almost alone. The room was very quiet intrinsically. But.

United States of AmericaThe walls were very thin and we could hear the people next door talking through the walls. It was not walking distance from the Paestum Archeological Park.
Everything was lovely but the hotel was making modifications so there was construction goinge on, and the larger restaurant was not open.

IndiaWe stayed around 1 week during end of december 2023. We kind of came here off season but we don't regret it at all. This Hotel is very good decorated and has some very good look with its exotic pool and the look (i mean well maintained ;)) Firstly I have to appreciate the effort put by kitchen Chef Mr. Domenico Fortino who was really co-operative and cooked us everyday rice as we are very much used to eat rice and was directly delivered to our room for a very reasonable price. I thank you very much sir for making our food exp really good. :) I also thank the respected ladies at the reception who were very friendly and helped us to find this option. Coming to breakfast, I liked the egg omelette with bacon, tomatoes and cheese which I ate almost everyday and some very good coffee. My daughter liked the cakes and Nutella. Of course ;) Coming to location, this hotel is very close to beach and can easily go to beach for some real romantic experience. I suggest to take food and drinks with you to beach and watch the sunset at the beach. Have a free parking here. Dogs are allowed for some small extra price. Last but not least, the room cleaning service is really good. We kind of got everyday a very clean room after we came home at the night. We had kid and dog who made bit of mess. Sorry for that to cleaning service and thank you for good work! Overall I recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay. :) Rooms: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 4/5 Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Kid-friendly

ItalyThere was a wedding the night we slept at the hotel. There is no insulation so loud music till very late night. We should have been given a room in a quieter area of the structure and not directly below the terrace where the celebration took place …
We just stayed for the night. Bed was comfortable, bedding not so much. Breakfast was very nice and good variety.

ItalyYou definitely need a car to move around, even if you'd like to go to the seaside. The water did not run away well in shower-cabin. No place to hang your towels. The rest was fine :)
It's a nice and fashionable hotel not far from Paestum archaeological area and the sea side. You need a car! As we were there to participate the Borsa Mediterranea del Turismo Archeologico we just arrived in the evening and left early in the morning. Staff was very friendly and the place has a terrific view from the roof restaurant, which seems to be from the '80's.

United KingdomThe bathrooms were a little tired and some of the silver taps/handles badly tarnished. The bedroom was a little small and its decor out of context to the overall design of the hotel. The view of the car park/adjacent housing from the balcony overlooking the front of the hotel was uninspiring
The MEC Paestum was ideally located only a few km away from the archeaological park and was a perfect location. The hotel has a modern contemporary design and its gardens/pool area are exceptional. Unfortunately we couldnt take advantage of the pool area due to a wedding be held there that evening but despite this it was a spectacular location especially at night when lit. The bedrooms were comfortable and the restaurant offered a great evening menu. Breakfast was also very good with a wide selection of eggs/meats/fruits/cake/coffee and juices.

ItalyThe rooms could be better sound proofed. One can easily here people walking past and the fridge in the room is not a fridge.
The hydro pools were great, nice area to relax and unwind and grab a drink. The main pool is great as well and it was super quiet (assuming it's busier during peak season). Staff is super friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was great too!
