Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Great from start to finish - very warm welcome, quick check in, room upgrade, good temperature in the room on a hot day which was welcome. Very characterful hotel, lovely bar and terrace restaurant. Amazing breakfast! Superb martini in the bar!

Exceptional. It blew every expectation we had out of the water (and our expectations were already high). We could not recommend Hotel Locarno highly enough. The hotel itself was of the highest standard, the interior design and ambiance was perfection. The location was fantastic, central to almost all of Romes historical attractions which made it easy to navigate around the city.

United KingdomThe roof terrace isn’t open Sunday and Monday (the two nights of our stay and was open do the reasons we’d been recommended the hotel. If it says it is shut on the website/ booking info, the. I missed it. The food is excellent by the way and the breakfast starts the day off well.
Staff were excellent, extremely professional and helpful. They are what makes this hotel special. It is spotlessly clean and hugely efficient! Concierge’s are all very knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction.

Old world glamour and service. One-off gem. Forget the chain hotels. Forget the big names. This feels like a secret only those clever enough to be in-the-know know about and can stay at. It exudes luxury and class from every corner. Nothing “noveau riche” about this property!
