Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Host super friendly and helpful, private parking, spacious and with all equipment we could need. Even good coffee, really everything we could need for the stay. Bikes to use for free ( we didn't have time to enjoy) close to ferry to Venice

NetherlandsThe only thing that was really annoying was that there are SO many mosquitos in this area. During the day as well as the nights... Its not somehting the owner can do anything about ofcourse! But it made it almost impossible to enjoy the lovely garden unfortunately. They also seem to find their way into the apartment, even though there are mosquito nets in front of each window. We ended up sleeping underneath a mosquito bed net as well, so we would definitely recommend bringing one!
Lovely appartment on one of the lidos, south of Venezia city. The apartment was very nice, comfy enough to stay with our family of four, with a nice kitchen, air-conditioning, lovely garden and private parking! The free of charge bikes were great to explore the island and the travel to Venezia city, Murano and Burano was also very easy.

Very nice and helpful owner. Bungalow , clean , with a well - equipped kitchen , nice garden . Overall a good place , for people who need a quiet place to work and rest .

AustriaUnfortunately we were victims of mosquitoes so make sure, that all doors are quickly closed before you turn the light on.
It’s an apartment close to the sea, with a bedroom and a living room where two people can sleep on a couch. The host is very nice! Supermarkets are close bye. The beach close bye is nice, and especially the sunshine bar is a great spot to be.
