Check out was early at 10.00 and check in late at 15.00, which is annoying. However, we were offered use of pool and external shower both before check in (on arrival) and on check out which more than made up for this. I would suggest a sweep in the room would assist guests with kids. Drive down to the main road is precarious but the view from the property made it well worth it!

This property was superb, one of the best ever. In terms of design, mod-cons and facilities, a lot of care and attention had clearly gone into it. For example, both balcony doors had retractable mosquito nets, with black out blinds fitted outside, meaning the doors could be closed or opened independently (and were modern glazed doors); coffee machine was great, wet room great, living area and beds all great. Pool was fabulous. This property was immaculate too. An exceptional property, especially in Sicily where standards are not great. Our stay with 3 small kids was a joy.

The apartment was super with a very nice bathroom and beds. Even a great terrace all private for us. The kitchen was however not well equipped as it was missing vital elements such as a cutting board, a bottle opener and had only one pot. Our host has already made up for these things :o)

Great location. Our apartment was not ready for our arrival at 15.00 but it was not an issue as we could use the pool and just wait 30 min.

We only spent one night at the guesthouse. We would love to stay longer. The rooms are very clean, cozy and homey. The staff was friendly and we were given all the instructions we needed. You can enjoy the communal terrace at the very top and the swimming pool with an amazing view of Cefalù. More than that, each room has a private terrace. I must warn you that the drive up to the guesthouse is not the easiest but if you are already an experienced driver it won't be a problem :) The road is steep and tight but the mirrors were helpful. Highly recommended for lovers of beautiful views!

There are 2-3 small things on the equipment of the rooms which needs to be changed, but otherwise it's charming because of it's location. You have to be fit walking up to the l'arca Residence. Otherwise the Taxi costs 15 € (but still worth it than to rent for this a moto or car).

Fantastic view from the balcony over the city & see. The host were kind l, answering to our questions about local transport posibilities, , we asked for an extra blanket & umbrella and thy provided it right away. Downwards walking to the city is confortable.

Little to criticise - would have been nice to have more fixed electric outlets on the counter top as the current arrangement with an extension lead and multiple sockets makes it tricky to make coffee and toast at same time.

This apartment property has a super location in the mountains above Cefalu and the view is stunning both during the day and at night. Furnishings within the property are basic but provide all that is needed for self catering. There is an outside terrace with dining table and chairs and access to bbq facilities. A swimming pool with spectacular views is shared by people staying in the apartments. We were in text communication with the person who met us at the apartment and gave us the keys. It is a 15 min drive to Cefalu which offers great shopping/dining/beach experience. The mountain location provides a welcome cool breeze and a place to relax in beautiful and quiet surroundings.

Would have liked to get some recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. Also I wished that breakfast would have been included since the room was not that cheap for one person.

Amazing stay appr. 3km from City Center with a view which is worth having! Rented a moped to get up the hill so the drive from the center is then about 5 min. Also walked up and down once and this takes approximately 35 min with walking next to the street for about 10 min but manageable. Hosts are English speaking and available on WhatsApp.

Hotel is situated on a small hill. The view from hotel which is Cefalu city is tremendous. Babara was very keen to share all the necessary information and helped with arranging other things.

The only big issue was the bathroom was very small, so having a shower was a struggle. The drain also did not take in the water coming from the shower, so it built up meaning you had to step in the dirty water! There was also a bad smell coming from the drains!

First of all, the views were absolutely stunning! The property is on a very steep hill, so it is a bit of a struggle to reach by car, but the location gives amazing views of the whole of Cefalú, the cliffs surrounding Cefalù and the sea! The property was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the overall property was great! The hostesses were very friendly and helpful.

we had a terrace in front of our room and apparently we were not allowed to use it. we have booked this accommodation because of the view but our terrace was in front of our room with no view. that should have been made clearer. plus we had a question to the host which she did not respond. we have heard from her again when we were checking out and she wanted to receive the tourist tax.

We spent three sad nights in this place. Apartment with a beautiful view and nice location, very nice room, but that's it. After reaching the place, it was very cold inside, the air conditioning did not work properly and could not heat the rooms. The heaters on the walls didn't work at all. There was mold in the air conditioning and it had a musty smell. There was huge humidity in the room, and in the bathroom water condensed on the walls and when we came out we were terribly cold. The towels didn't dry at all. We asked the owner for help, but he claimed that the air conditioning worked well and suggested that we move to another place or replace the towels. When we asked for details, he said that it was not possible now, only on the next (third, last) day. We didn't want to waste time on our last day and asked for towels to be replaced, which was confirmed, but they were not replaced at all. We have very bad memories of this holiday. Maybe it's better in summer, but in winter we don't recommend it at all.

Entirely remote check in and no-one on site. You need internet to get pin number for key. Didn't understand the lengthy online check-in when I still had to send passport photos on WhatsApp. Heater advertised but wasn't on - had to use noisy Aircon unit to heat. Road is very steep and narrow with lots of driveways either wide, although the locals go very slow so it was actually not so bad as it first appeared. Parking space and turning very tight so wouldn't recommend for people with a big car. Kitchen equipment very limited. Steps down to the property.

Amazing views over Cefalu from shared terrace. No oven but microwave has combi function so can use as an oven. Provided washing up liquid, sponge, towels, shower gel and linen. Handy MD supermarket at bottom of hill. Coffee machine with pods provided, but needs a clean as nozzle partially blocked.
