People were smoking weed on the property. We couldn’t sit outside that much because of it.

The rooms are serviced every other day so sometimes we needed things. The staff was always friendly and happy to provide whatever was needed, but it would be nice not to have to ask.

The location was great for us. We enjoyed the beach access and pool. The breakfast is convenient.

Clerk at checkin was not very friendly. Except for the pool and beach, there were no walkable stores or restaurants.

Breakfast was great and Breakfast staff was very attentive. The people who serviced the room were extremely nice and accommodating. Beach was very clean. Great ocean view from the room.

Great view of the pool and beach from our room. We liked having a kitchenette. The complimentary Nespresso machine in the lobby/office area was delicious (best latte of my life).

Roaches

Location , cleanliness within and around property. Secure and staff was welcoming. Amenities were very good . Breakfast, the pool and sitting areas outside were really good. Staff take good care of property

The beds weren’t very comfortable. It seems like they’re renovating, and our bathroom looked new. The “kitchen” had a small stove with cooktop, but it was old and dirty looking. There weren’t any cupboards for food storage, and no utensils were stocked. Pots and pans are available to “rent” free of charge, but It would’ve been difficult to cook, and clean up, which is what we had planned. We ended up buying sandwich stuff for lunch to keep in the fridge (which was nice), and eating out for dinner, which is expensive for a big family. Just something to take into consideration if you’re planning on cooking. There were also a few ants in the kitchen.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Breakfast was good-typical hotel hot breakfast. Room accommodated family of 6. The walk to the beach was very short and easy to access. The pool was large and nice. Overall a good price for what you are getting.

They used to have lemon water in the lobby years ago. That was a nice touch. The floors were sandy in our room when we got there. The bathroom was extremely small with the sink outside of it. I also was not expecting surprise charges when we arrived. First they tried charging me $250 for incidentals and my pet. Then that dropped to $150, then just $100. I couldn't get a straight answer as to what exactly I was paying for. I paid the $100 and then at checkout they tried to say I still owed $150. After a phone call made by the front desk that then dropped to $50. The whole thing just seemed like it was a nickel and dime scheme. Needless to say the $100 is all they got out of me! Other than that it would've been nice to have a designated smoking area outside. We were trying to enjoy the pool and someone was smoking cigars. Even outside the smell was just super strong and made us end up leaving the pool early.

Breakfast was great. The breakfast area had been renovated and much better than when we had stayed here before. Definitely preferred the room being non carpeted. Pool was great.

Breakfast could have small bottles of water for guests instead of having to walk over to lobby bldg to fill a cup. Wasn’t prepared for all the seaweed on the beach. The oceanfront doesn’t have as much. Not sure why the bay does but all in all an enjoyable stay.

I left my bathing suit under the sink and when I collected it to go home, it smelled like old animal pee. I know it was a pet friendly room but I doubt I’ll ever get the smell out. The sheets were so thin they were practically translucent. They never cleaned the room. The check in staff was rude and there wasn’t anyone at the desk when I tried to check out. A woman in the lobby told me to just throw my keys on the counter and they’d get around to it. I called four hours later and they still hadn’t checked us out of the room. The room itself had a weird red/maroon splash on the baseboard. There was long black hair in the tub, on the toilet and scattered about the room. The kitchen had no utensils. The breakfast area was minuscule. The hotel itself was about 30 minutes away from any entertainment.

The only redeeming part of this property is that it was right on the ocean.

Our room was not serviced at all. We were there for five days. But I was given clean towels and bed sheets to change myself at the front desk.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was great. Especially Kristen!
