The showers were cold (really cold) and could not get hot water. Location is not walking distance from Cefalu centre, so car is recommended.

Check-in worked out well, but it seemed like host got a bit annoyed at us for not understanding the check-in instrcution completely. Instruction was good and made in videos but it was in italian (we speak english) so it was trickier than usual. Also room had strong odor of cleaning solution and shower head had a crack which sprinkled water

The access road is quite difficult especially during night, the location being on a steep hill.

The view from the terrace is amazing and they have beautiful gardens. We have arrived late for the check in and everything went smoothly.

Great location, however, you would be advised to get there by car because the hill is steep and long. Facilities were good, we had the use of a roof terrace, a terrace outside the door to the apartment along with table, chairs, loungers and a pool. This place is great and I would be happy with go back there.

Check out was early at 10.00 and check in late at 15.00, which is annoying. However, we were offered use of pool and external shower both before check in (on arrival) and on check out which more than made up for this. I would suggest a sweep in the room would assist guests with kids. Drive down to the main road is precarious but the view from the property made it well worth it!

This property was superb, one of the best ever. In terms of design, mod-cons and facilities, a lot of care and attention had clearly gone into it. For example, both balcony doors had retractable mosquito nets, with black out blinds fitted outside, meaning the doors could be closed or opened independently (and were modern glazed doors); coffee machine was great, wet room great, living area and beds all great. Pool was fabulous. This property was immaculate too. An exceptional property, especially in Sicily where standards are not great. Our stay with 3 small kids was a joy.

The apartment was super with a very nice bathroom and beds. Even a great terrace all private for us. The kitchen was however not well equipped as it was missing vital elements such as a cutting board, a bottle opener and had only one pot. Our host has already made up for these things :o)

Great location. Our apartment was not ready for our arrival at 15.00 but it was not an issue as we could use the pool and just wait 30 min.

We only spent one night at the guesthouse. We would love to stay longer. The rooms are very clean, cozy and homey. The staff was friendly and we were given all the instructions we needed. You can enjoy the communal terrace at the very top and the swimming pool with an amazing view of Cefalù. More than that, each room has a private terrace. I must warn you that the drive up to the guesthouse is not the easiest but if you are already an experienced driver it won't be a problem :) The road is steep and tight but the mirrors were helpful. Highly recommended for lovers of beautiful views!

There are 2-3 small things on the equipment of the rooms which needs to be changed, but otherwise it's charming because of it's location. You have to be fit walking up to the l'arca Residence. Otherwise the Taxi costs 15 € (but still worth it than to rent for this a moto or car).

Fantastic view from the balcony over the city & see. The host were kind l, answering to our questions about local transport posibilities, , we asked for an extra blanket & umbrella and thy provided it right away. Downwards walking to the city is confortable.

The place is very basic and rooms received very little natural light. Couldn't park in the designated parking area at check-in despite being told we could. Wi-Fi worked for about 2% of the trip. When complaining to the host about this, we were literally just responded to with what the password was and no other remedy. Finally, we had someone try to enter the building in the middle of the night. While they didn't get in, and could have just been someone confused with where their building was, the door lock was fairly flimsy and didn't reassure confidence in security.

View from on top of the hill is impressive, just make sure you have a car as it is a very steep drive up a windy road. The pool was enjoyable.

The drive up is very, very difficult. The tires on our car spun in some ares as it was so steep. Many if not most guests have to hire a taxi at 15€ each way to travel to and fro from Cefalú.

The views!!! The pool is beautiful. The coffee machine prepares excellent coffee.
