Privacy, friendly host and breakfast!

Il Pescatore offered a single room, which is a rare find and great for solo travellers. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb, served on a relaxing roof terrace. Property is within a short walking distance to Selinunte archaeological site, and the seafront is also not that far away with some beautiful beaches and good restaurants. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and good value for money.

The television signal wasn’t the best but I wasn’t there to watch television.

The breakfast was exceptionally good and served in a lovely al fresco area. The owners were very friendly. A lot of thought had gone in to providing facilities and decorations in a Sicilian home.

Very friendly and helpful personnel, ready to provide all necessary information regarding the interesting places in neighborhood and Sicily in general :) Comfortable and cosy room. Terrace on the top of the building as a perfect place for breakfast with a view (and tasty breakfast itself). Closeness of the location to the beach and streets with restaurants.

It was as we expected - a small pension in a small town.

Breakfast was excellent. The town is largely shut down in November. We had an excellent dinner at Boomerang restaurant. Il Pescatori is very close to the Greek ruins at the archeological park.

Well the previous reviewers weren't lying about the epic breakfast! Such a cute place, with several outside areas including a rooftop terrasse. You can see the sea from parts of the terrasse and roof. Friendly owners.

Everything was excellent

Nice apartment and very well located to visit the archeological site. Also near restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Possibility to put the bikes in a safe place. Very friendly host.

You could hear absolutely everything going on in the other rooms, e.g. I heard someone’s phone vibrating. Plus, as other reviewers say, there were lots of dogs barking outside in the evening. Luckily, the other guests were respectful and the dogs stopped barking at night, so we slept well, but this might not be the case for others.

For the price, this is the BEST place to stay in Selinunte! The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is excellent.

The owner is very kind, willing to help - even if far from fluent in English. Nothing is problem. Clean, comfortable, parking in front. Incredible home made breakfast. Feel very cosy. And really working wifi and air conditioning! Great value for money.

Warm welcome from Maria, who checked us in (Note that they will keep your passports until checkout). The accommodation was quite comfortable and facilities adequate. Everything was very clean. A highlight was the phenomenal breakfast served by Salvatore, the owner. There was everything one could wish for, cheese and meats, fresh fruit, and homemade delicacies. Fantastic! We also liked the thoughtful, in-theme decoration of the house. The place is a short stroll to a good nearby restaurant that serves fresh fish (trattoria casa mia) and also the temple area.

Neighbourhood dogs barking made difficult to fall a sleep.

Clean towels, bedding. Attention to details. Comfortable bed. The owner is really nice and friendly. Breakfast superb . Fresh ,tasty , variety of options.
