The wifi did not work in our room and even in the common areas it was very spotty. We had an issue with batteries in our remotes that was solved very quickly.

The location was nice and close to downtown. The room was very large with a comfy bed. The best part was the kitchen area with snacks and water.

The host did not leave any toilet paper in the room and only left one set of towels for two people. I texted him for the check out time and he replied 5hours later at 1am.

Some people were having a great time partying in the building. (The noise stopped after we yelled out the window.)

Excellent location, walking distance from Catania Centrale railway station (which is 20 mins from the airport by bus, 1 hr train ride from Taormina). The historical centre is also about a 10 min walk away. The owner is kind, helpful and flexible, and easy to reach when you have a question. The shared kitchen offers a great variety of wrapped pastries, crackers, fruits, tea, coffee, bottled water for no extra charge, 24/7. There's a toaster, a double hob, coffee machine, a toaster oven, - but no microwave. Coffee shops and restaurants are literally around the corner, mini markets are maybe a 3 min walk from the place , and fancy bars and restaurants are also available in the centre. Wifi is stable, water is hot with nice pressure. The place is close to the see, but the area has more of an industrial dock vibe, so you cannot really have a nice walk by the shore near there. (For that, take the train to Taormina.)

There seemed to be a lot of plugs but only the one behind TV worked. The drain water was a little bit clogged during shower. However it’s a good value for the cost!

Very easy to access to the bus terminal and main station! Comfortable beds. Quick response from the staff. They offer many snacks and water!

Would have been good to have some juice and maybe unsweetened yoghurt in the fridge for breakfast. However there are coffee bars a few steps away.

Lovely comfortable room. Air con worked well and the bed was very good. Full size bathroom with a powerful shower. Chilled water is available in the kitchen with fruit and lots of packaged cakes.

All was well, just the sink drain that need some fixing. Everything else was 👌.

Lovely building and bright room. High ceiling, balcony and enough storage if needed. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was really friendly, flexible and informative. Well located, near the station and in the centre. The lady who cleans was really friendly and helpful as well. Water & snacks available in the kitchen area if needed. And the host responds well in time. So sweet that some tenants whispered in the corridors to keep it down for others. Thank you so much!! Grazie mille!!

- This accommodation greatly exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late at night at the airport when there was no more public transport running and they arranged a very smooth and decently priced transfer and late check in! - Everything is walking distance.

Outside the building there is much to be desired but it’s still ok. The property could use some plants to spruce up the courtyard or main entrance so it feels more welcoming.

It was easy to book, staff was super friendly and accommodating, and property was located not so far from everything. Location is good for walkers, mass transit partakes, or drivers.

Great location. Close enough to the central station and walking distance to historical old town. Host were in constant communication via WhatsApp and check in went smoothly. Requested late check out and was given extra time with the possibility to leave bags to be collected later.

The accommodation was pleasant,clean, available hairdryer, TV, wifi, air conditioning, shared kitchen, large fridge, coffee machine, Italian sweet packaged pastries available. Bottled still water for tea or coffee. We were given vouchers for breakfast at a local cafe nearby, they had excellent local pastries there! The accommodation is close to the main station and the bus. The bed was big enough, a little soft mattress. Every evening we had a tidy room upon arrival.We were satisfied, we will be happy to come back!

The TV remote didn’t work. Wifi signal was weak in our room. The shower was slow to drain.

It is near public transport. A short walk away from the city centre. The host booked a taxi for us to the airport. Body wash and hairdryer in the bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with bottled water and food we could have. The host let us check in an hour early.

Unfortunately there was some misunderstanding with the transport to the airport in the early morning (organised by the owner), because the driver didn't come. Breakfast for the guests was organised in a cafe nearby (which was a good idea). Owner said, the cafe is opened already very early (even from 5 am), unfortunately it was actually opened from 7 am, so I hadn't chance to eat it because of my early flight.

The location was great and staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and very clean. The house was spectacular with its long history. In the kitchen there was a coffee and biscuits available in any time.

Hard to find, not well signposted. The area is a bit rough but close to train station and a short walk to city center. I was recommended not to walk alone at night.

It is a small B&B in an old apartment building. Friendly host.
