Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Firstly, Claudio is the best host, he offered good recommendations about places to visit and good restaurants, he explained to us about the transport to and from Venice and even offered to drive us to the airport. The place is comfortable, clean, cozy and perfect for 4/5 people, you have everything you need there. The bus station is 3 minutes away and you have a direct bus/tram to and from Venice and a supermarket is 5 minutes away. Good price for a great stay. Thank you!

The flat is beautiful. The design of rooms are great. There are two toilets in the apartment which is also great for bigger groups. Kitchen was equiped well and there was salt and oil for cooking. It is great location to visit Venedig.

Having 2 bathrooms is a major advantage. Tram stop is very near by and we will directly reach venice by taking the tram.

BrazilThe only observation I would make would be about the mattresses: The beds are ok, but the mattresses could be a little less soft.
It is a house with two rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. The proprietary is extremely friendly, and he gives many tips about the city and how to commute to Venice from his house. Moreover, he was kind enough to present us with a bottle of prosecco. The neighborhood has pizzerias, a bakery, supermarkets, and everything within walking distance. The neighborhood is very calm and silent.

United StatesThe wifi was great in one room of the house, but the other side of the house it would not reach. The mosquitoes were pretty bad in on of the bathrooms, but we used spray and once the air conditioning kicked in, they didn't bother us.
The location was great for a family with little ones. We could walk to the tram/train and head into Venice. There was a great restaurant right around the corner our host recommended. The host was very kind and gave us so much information and recommendations. If we needed anything, we knew he was right there to help us out! The air conditioning in the heat of the summer was something we were so thankful for. Being able to leave Venice and head home on the hottest part of the day was a welcome retreat. We would stay here again.
