Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was perfect, and the design was refreshingly modern and minimal, a contrast to the generally heavier interiors found in Venice. The lady who assisted us was incredibly helpful and kind. Everything was perfect – thank you for a wonderful stay!

United KingdomThe loft bedroom had no wardrobe for hanging clothes and a tiny chest of drawers which was quite inadequate. No bedside tables or lamps. This was very disappointing. The extra lounge could have accommodated these. A fixed shower would have been good . The other bathroom had no ventilation, so there was a continual damp smell.

GeorgiaThe apartment was very comfortable for two couples. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Daily cleaning service and supply of water, coffee and daily necessities. Tanya is the best host, she booked us the best restaurants and gave us recommendations for all our questions. If you want to have a quality vacation in Venice, I absolutely recommend charming house Iqs to everyone.
Comfortable, clean, modern apart-hotel type apartment. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary things.

United KingdomThe rooms are noisy. The hotel sits on a canal junction and there is lots of noise in the mornings, so if you arent an early riser... you will be!!! Lots of shouting and general commotion from 7am ish. So if you want a lay in, stay somewhere else. We werent too fussed by it, but i worried my kids would be woken - which they werent!! The rooms felt a little tired and a bit grubby, the kitchenette facilities had clearly not been wiped down recently. Bedding and bathrooms were all very clean, but it just didnt feel particularly clean. There isnt anywhere to sit down in the hotel, as it is almost like a little airbnb apartment so no bar or any other facilities. However, we spend most of our time out so we didnt worry about this.
The communiciation of the staff is exceptional, as soon as i made the booking they got in touch via Whats App and were very organised and reassuring. Helped with any bookings. Throughout our stay, they were quick to respond with any queries. There arent staff at the hotel, but this doesnt really matter as their response on messenger was brilliant. The rooms were two good sizes, and they made up a sofa bed for my daughter. The rooms are quite dark, but i guess so are many in venice. At night time the hotel was very quiet and the aircon worked well. Location is fabulous, easy to see everything you need to and yet tucked away.
