The property is stunning and a 25 minute walk to Siena centre. Great views from our toilet and bedroom. All staff were very helpful, but I need to mention Michelle, who provided outstanding service. Among many other things, Michelle secured a hire car for us when everything appeared to be fully booked.

Absolutely nothing!!!

I cannot say enough good things about La Certosa Di Maggiano. When we arrived we were greeted as if we were family. The entire staff was friendly and beyond accommodating. Looking for a reservation off property, no problem. Need a car/taxi, no problem. Want a suggestion for an activity/tour, no problem. The entire property was amazing. Every nook and cranny held something to admire. The grounds were spacious and well kept. Our family took an on premise cooking class and had an amazing time. Not only did we make a ton of pasta, stuffed chicken and tiramisu, but then they made sauces for each. We enjoyed our hard work on the patio with wine, cheese, meats and bread. It was incredible!!! A special thanks to Michelle for a great experience. 💕

Two night stay. Staff exceptional could not do enough for you, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is so beautiful in every way. Perfect location if you still wish to visit the centre only took just under 30 minutes to walk and 7 mins in taxi back. Food was to the highest standards and if it was not on the menu they were more than happy if they could to do something you would prefer. Service 11/10 the perfect stay. Thank you and look forward to staying with you again

The restaurant and food was superb. However the menu was the same for lunch and dinner each of the 5 days of our stay. We would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant every day, but in order to get some variety we had to eat in some city restaurants.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and very approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting, the building and the grounds were all superb. Attention to detail was second to none. Lots of different areas to sit, eat and drink.

Nice hotel outside Siena Very nice garden with incredible views of Tuscan hills. Hotel is 1,5 km fm Siena and 2,5 km fm city centre, but if you walk it is very good exercise with beautiful views.

The converted convent has the most beautiful landscaping and countryside. The proximity to Siena is an advantage The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable The restaurant is first rate as is the bar, and the best is the staff, who are wonderful and treat everyone as VIP

In a tranquil environment like this you notice noise from kids, fellow guests, the kitchen etc.. We visited off-season but I imagine that it may be less peaceful when full up.

This is a really beautiful location just outside Siena and a lovely place to stay for a few nights. The building, the room, the extensive grounds and the service combine to create an exceptionally relaxing experience. Great barman. The adjoining church is marvellous

The property is stunning and set in a most beautiful Tuscan location. The history of the property , having been a Monastery , is really interesting.simply gorgeous Tuscan architecture , with its own beautiful working church within the building. The most wonderful part of the experience was the staff, lead by Michelle who is the best example of how to make guests feel special and like friends. Nothing was ever a problem. The masseuse was also amazing The food was delicious All in all , I would say without being over enthusiastic , that this had been the best hotel experience , for several reasons , that I have enjoyed. Property and staff both were outstanding. Truly made us feel welcome and home. Truly one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Both Michelle at the concierge and Agatha in the restaurant are delightful and made us feel very special. Would highly recommend this place for anyone planting visit Siena.

What did we like? I do not know where to start. Must have been the first time we loved a place so much from the first second, that we booked an additional night before even seeing our room! The staff was amazing! The place is stunning! The breakfast was perfect! The design, attention to detail in decor as well as with the service - not to mention super comfortable beds where we slept like babies. The location was great as well. A 30min walk in to Siena old town. Yet peaceful with stunning views over the Tuscan hills. The atmosphere is a 10+. Wish we were so lucky that we could visit this place also in the future. Next time in the summer months, so we can enjoy the pool and the garden even more than this time. Thank you for this amazing experience! ❤️

Incredible stay, beautiful place, amazing and kind staff. Very helpful and professional. Everything was above and beyond, from the service to the room and facilities. Michelle, Paula, Gabrielle, Alyssa and all the rest were fantastic and accommodating!

The only thing I would complain about was the attitude that the staff had working in the reception. When we first got there they said they will serve us welcome drinks so we ordered couple of drinks. When we were checking out they wanted to charge some of the drinks so I said I thought they were welcome drinks I didn’t know that we were suppose to pay and the lady goes “ok we are not going to die from 20 euros.” which I found it very rude. I wasn’t trying to not pay for the drinks I was just making sure that if we need to pay, there were 5 of them and they charged us only 2 which was weird so I just wanted to make sure but she was uptight. They ended up not charging by the way.

The hotel itself is so beautiful and the view is just breathtaking. It was a whole different experience. They upgraded us to a suit which was a very nice thing to do. Definitely worth staying here. The staff was so nice and so friendly as well.
