Modern design and layout. Excellent facility in terms of kitchen and shower. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Terrace is beautiful too. Esmeralda was very kind and helpful.

If you’re a light sleeper and sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge room, although there is frosted glass on the window, you may still be bothered by the streetlight.

Esmeralda was so sweet and lovely. She was very helpful with answering any questions we had. She provides daily cleaning where she refills water, croissants and biscuits. It was the best feeling coming back to a freshly cleaned and fully stocked place. The location is good as it is close to the train station and a 10-15 min walk to restaurants, shops and the main town centre. The supermarket was a few doors down. Although the train station was close and you could hear the trains pass, it did not affect our sleep. We felt safe as there was extra security with a gate in front of the front door.

One of my best stay experience in Europe. Very nice, clean flat with good taste of decoration. Safe for a one-girl trip. I took so many wonderful pics in the lovely yard and I appreciate so much for all the support from Miss Esmeralda!

Esmeralda was an amazing host, who was always available for questions and regulary checked on us. The apartment was always clean and we were daily provided with water and snacks. We also received a lot of information for the area as well as restaurant recommendations, which we happily used! A supermarket is 50m away and the train station about 7min by walk. We would definitely come back

No complaints whatsoever.

We are on a 3 month Europe trip and this was the best place we have stayed! Esmeralda is so kind and offers many recommendations in the area. She is available at any time to help with anything! She went above and beyond cleaning the place each morning and leaving waters every day! The pull out bed was even really comfortable!! Wish we didn’t have to leave her place! Next time I am in the area will definitely be booking with her again!

Some neighbors are noisy but didn’t affect our sleep.

Everything. Located near the train station and very close to the supermarket. The apartment was clean. Is very modern and equipped with all the necessary things. We traveled with a 6-month-old baby and a cot was provided. The bed was one of the best - we slept as babies. The best part was the host. She is the best host you can find in La Spezia. Every day she cleaned, always left us something to snack on, helped us with recommendations, answered us at all times, and always provided help. We recommend this location

The water flow was a big slow in the toilet sink. But that’s a very minor problem.

Very nice apartment! Newly renovated and very fresh, clean. Esmeralda, the host, is nice and super friendly!!! The location was also very good, lower than 10 min walk to La Spezia train station. Very easy to get to Cinque Terre. A grocery store was very nearby. Everything was excellent!

We stayed at Casa Esmeralda over the Easter weekend. We picked La Spezia as a base for exploring the Cinque Terre. Esmeralda is a wonderful host and is very helpful and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the train station, which was perfect for us. There is a supermarket close by. Although close to the train line we did not hear the trains at night. The apartment is beautifully decorated and is very new. I loved staying here!

Location was good but the proximity to the trains does mean there is a little noise until they stop in the evening but this was minor and not too disruptive

Excellent location close to the train station and also the city centre. Esmeralda was lovely and met us at the property and provided lots of helpful travel suggestions and made extra effort to ensure a comfortable stay. The property appears to have been recently renovated and is well appointed.

We liked honestly everything about this property! The location (few minutes away from the train station), the apartment itself, and especially its spaciousness, the newness (which often is not the great thing) but liked the design, amazing bathroom, and especially shower, terrace.. everything was great! The host was also super sweet and considerate. Gave us plenty of recommendations, and even more!

We loved everything and have nothing we didn’t like!

We loved this property so much. The entire place was newly renovated and completely modern. Very spacious and clean. Huge bedroom, bathroom and lounge with a very cute outdoor terrace. The location is absolutely brilliant - only a short 5 minute walk to the station and 15 minutes to the port. Esmeralda was a fantastic host who gave great recommendations on places to visit and information on Cinque Terre. The apartment is cleaned daily with refills on coffee, water and a few breakfast items. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The size of the apartment is perfect, the property is very close to the train station for those who want to visit Cinque Terre and only 10 min walking from the marina and there is a supermarket next to the apartment. The apartment was very new and clean. The apartment was cleaned every day and our host went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She sent us many recommendations about how to move around and restaurants and she even offered to keep our luggage if we would need it after check-out.

We loved everything about this apartment… beautiful, comfortable and the location for us was perfect … short walk to the train station. Very comfortable, clean, secure and efficient property. 5 minute walk to the train station which we used extensively. Esmeralda is a gracious host that thought of all our needs and was helpful with local information. Property was very well decorated with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. 15 minute walk to center of La Spezia and dock for ferry less than 1/2 hour walk. Nice restaurants all less than 15 minute walk with a grocery store a minute away.

The property is perfect for exploring Cinque Terre towns. It is a quick walk from the train station. The apartment is new, clean, comfortable & spacious. It was the best stay we had in Italy and also cost the least. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and was the largest one we stayed in Italy. Esmeralda cleaned everyday, gave us free water, fresh towels without having to ask her. She also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine when we arrived and a farewell snack pack. We could check in early, she also gave us plenty of recommendations. All areas of the apartment are large and spacious. The aircon worked very well. There is also two TVs. Plenty of space for luggage, I was impressed that two big suitcases could fit on the luggage shelf. There is a little terrace outside or you can relax in the dining or lounge area. The shower is huge and modern. The stay was perfection and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Cinque Terre.

If you’re wishing to see La Spezia specifically, be advised the apartment is a 20-25min walk away from the port. But as previously stated perfect location for travel around Cinque Terre and for Florence/Pisa.

The apartment was newly renovated and contemporary in design with new facilities and a great shower. Absolutely spotless, with the cleaning carried out each day. As a host Esmeralda went beyond expectations with a comprehensive guide to the local amenities and Cinque Terre. The apartment was also well stocked with complementary refreshments everyday which was a nice touch. The apartment is ideally situated just a couple of minutes walk from the train station for those wishing to travel by train.

We very enjoyed our stay here! Everything was nice and clean, the place is new. La Spezia Centrale is 5 minutes away, which is very convenient if you’re visiting Cinque Terre. The host (Esmeralda) was very helpful and friendly, she gave us some nice recommendations on commute, attractions where to eat etc. Highly recommend this location!

We wanted something close to the station for our trip to Cinque Terre which this was, it was a great location from that point of view, only thing was the trains were quite noisy in the front room where the kids slept so just pack some ear plugs.
