Ca’ del Pittor one bedroom apartment is fabulous, in a quiet street and it above all it is in an excellent location; just a few minutes’ walk to Zattere in one direction and the Accademia Bridge in the other direction. The ferry from the airport stops at Zattere and you can get the public ferry from the Accademia Bridge stop which is on the Grand Canal!! Or you can walk to everywhere in Venice from here. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it has been modernised to an extremely high standard and still had the charm of an old Venetian house. The apartment felt very homely and it was a brilliant place to come back to and relax. The bathrooms were fantastic and, in our apartment, we had 2 bathrooms! It is a ground floor apartment. Lorella was lovely and warmly welcomed us at the apartment when we arrived and gave us some brilliant local recommendations. Silvia was very friendly and kindly stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was ok for us during our stay. We really hope to come back again to Ca’ del Pittor again!

The apartment was beautiful and in the perfect location - a couple of minutes walk from Accademia bridge and vaporetto stop, but in a quiet area. Lorella was very helpful when we checked in, giving us lots of information about the area and the apartment.

No washer and dryer, which was explained beforehand, but a rack for drying rinsed out socks would be nice. No screens for windows, which seems to be Venetian style, but flying bugs can be annoying when trying to sleep.

Very friendly family staff. Well stocked amenities. Roomy and airy. Quiet. Safe. Newly decorated and attractive. Welcome bottle of prosecco.

We were met on arrival by the host, Lorella. We was given a show around the property and given all the info needed. Lorella gave us some excellent suggestions of places to visit, along with some excelent resturaunts. She is very passionate about the property itself and also about Venice. We found it very helpful. This property was of a very high standard. We was in the ground floor one bedroom apartment which has a lovely small garden to the rear. The facilities within the apartment were excellent, and anything we needed was there. The location itself was excellent, in a quiet street with restuaraunts and bars within a 2 minute walk. There is a small supermarket very close. It is also very close to 2 Vaperetto stops, Accademia or Zattere, which makes it easy to get from the airport. All the main attractions of venice can be reached within 10 minutes, but is away from the chaos.

This was our second visit to Venice. The first time we stayed in San Marco area and it was very crowded. Here in Dorsodouro the apartment is located on a quiet and beautiful street, with two vaporetto stations nearby (the apartment is two minutes from the Accademia Bridge). The apartment itself exceeded our expectations, especially the beautiful garden, which we had at our complete disposal. The hostess is caring and responsive. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is also spacious and tastefully decorated. The two bathrooms were also very convenient. Comfortable bed and pillows. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment and dishes. An excellent supermarket is a ten minute walk via Fodamenta Zattere. This is our best stay so far. Thank you so much Dear Hostess!

The bed was very hard and i had trouble sleeping.

The apartments were on a lovely quiet street, with cafes at the corner. The apartment was well stocked with dishes/glassware and well decorated. The apartment was very clean.

Lorella and Sylvia couldn’t have done enough for us. From the moment we got there (we arrived late as the flight was delayed) and throughout they were amazing hosts. Lorella met us to give us the keys, talk us through the apartment, give restaurant and bakery recommendations and even talked us through a map of Venice. Throughout the stay we were able to use WhatsApp to contact both of them to ask for advice, or even to book restaurants on our behalf and they were both incredibly helpful and kind. We had the added benefit of a terrace with the apartment which is so rare in Venice. We used it every day and it was so nice to have somewhere to relax outside after a long day of walking around the streets of Venice. If we were ever to visit again we would definitely use them again.

In case not immediately clear - The appartment has 2 big bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate living room with kitchen. This is so much better than having the living room masquerading as a bedroom. it is under 5 mins walk from both Zattere and Academia so incredibly well located. The street is super quiet as well. Overall if this is the sort of accommodation you are after, I don’t think you could do any better. the high rating is completely deserved.
