We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Paolo is a great host, helping us find parking and taking us to the tram station. Great breakfast. Property is great value for money if you re looking for a cheaper accommodation and don’t mind a short tram commute. Car is recommended for 5 min drive to station.

IsraelPaolo the host is one of a kind! The place is 10 minutes walking from the tram station, and then 15 minutes to the city center. Paolo will insist to take you to the station every time! He will make an excellent breakfast and make sure you feel at home. The room (with a private bathroom) is inside his house, but you will get all the privacy you need. We will surely be back

United States of AmericaThere were mosquitos, but not much you can do about that. We came in late June. Also, if Paulo were not able to give us a ride or if we couldn't communicate easily with him, it might have been difficult to find the lodging.
I felt so bad I didn't know our host's name but I cheated and looked at other reviews. Paulo really is a gem. He gave us a ride from the tram(?) stop to the location by communication through booking.com. The room was spacious and beautiful, and we had a private bathroom. Paulo gave us a ride back to the station so we could get to the city easily. He helped us do our laundry and prepared a delicious breakfast for us before he had to leave. Everything was just amazing. Such great value for such amazing hospitality.

LithuaniaEverything about our stay was excellent! The host is an amazing teacher, he is kind and lovely! He even drove us to the train station and took us from there when it was raining. At first, the house looked bad from the outside but afterwards, everything was 10/10. We thought it was an amazing experience for us. About the location: it is far away from the center but about 10 minutes away from the train way which you can go with only 1 ticket that is 1.5€. Lastly and maybe most importantly, the host even prepared us an amazing breakfast! He is the best! Totally worths anything!

Israeleverything. the multiple plug extension (sometimes hosts forget tourists has a million things to charge, not in this case). the cold water outside, the million shampoo choices (that we actually forgot to bring).
Paulo is one of a kind. the best host we ever had. I really have no words to describe how welcoming he is. he really thought of everything to make the guest feel at home. after a long day of struggling with our phone, we finally could rest and Paulo welcoming us they way he did - was truly everything you could hope for after a long day.

The best part of this stay was the host. Paulo was absolutely the best! I can't say enough good about him. He went out of his way to help me find a location to get my covid test to return home. Next time I am in Florence, I will definitely be returning! Nicest guy I met when I was in Italy
