Location was the ideal walking distance from the centre, with a supermarket close by, an ATM, as well as a bakery less them 1 minute walk away. The room was comfortable, clean had access to kitchen facilities for when we opted not to eat out. Marco was so helpful and friendly, he was responsive to all our queries and gave some great recommendations for our trip.

The apartment was in a good location, not far away from the major attractions, but in an area with lots of nice bars and restaurants. The host Marco was fabulous and gave us so many good recommendations.

Wi-Fi could be better.

Great quiet location. Host was really welcoming and helpful. Parking in a nearby garage for a decent price. Breakfast at a nearby cafe that has very tasty pastry and good coffee. Room was nice.

The shower was small, but I read online that most showers in Italy are small.

The building is located right by the wall of the city and minutes from the major landmarks. The room I stayed in had a painted ceiling which was so cool!

I received a warm welcome from the landlord. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is ideal with old city reachable by walking in round 10mn and some some restaurants down the street.

It was a bit cold in November, but we used air conditioner to heat the room, so it was not a problem.

Marco is a great host, very friendly! All-in-all I liked the property. The ceiling was impressing! It is not far away from the city center, 20-30 minutes on foot. There are many good restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, and there is a supermarket next to the apartment. You can use shared kitchen, there is a fridge and other kitchen equipment you may need. I liked the vibe of the apartment and the neighborhood. Of course, it is a budget room, so don’t expect too much. But the place had everything we needed. If you want to get a more local experience, I can recommend!

We loved our stay at B&B Porta San Frediano! The room was spacious and clean. Marco had set up a nice travel crib for our son too. Marco is so kind and has lots of great recommendations for restaurants nearby. When I needed to get an item of clothing stitched, he also recommended a great tailor. The location is excellent in a quiet area of Oltrarno - we are so glad we stayed on this side of the river, which has a more "local" vibe, but is still walking distance to all of the historical sites. There's a great cafe across the street where we had breakfast everyday. The B&B also has a shared kitchen and fridge for anyone who prefers to make some meals themselves. Highly recommend a stay here!

The B&B is located in the heart of Florence in a lovely residential area but still close to major attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery (around 20 min walking). The room was very elegant with beautiful decorations (including an amazing hand-painted ceiling), clean and spacious. Our host Marco was super nice, providing a seamless check-in experience, offering us a map and pointing in them delicious trattorias, osterias and places to visit. Couldn't recommend it more!

The room was very spacious and equipped with everything we could want, even a kitchenette. The location was great, walking distance to all attractions but away from the crowds and among the locals. Marco was also very welcoming and gave us amazing tips! Also, ignore the negative comments on the breakfast - for us the breakfast at the bar across the street was a true Italian experience, the people there really kind and the croissants were the best we ever tried. After having two of those we were full for hours!

A wonderful welcome and lots of useful information provided at check-in. The room was spacious with a table and chairs, a microwave and a fridge-freezer. A lovely little home from home from which to explore Florence.

The beds could have been firmer. Then again most European beds we have slept on tend to be very soft.

It was very comfortable and private. The people were very friendly and accommodating - our train got delayed 2+ hours and they managed to accommodate us after check-in hours. Super nice.

Perfect accommodation near the center of Florence. The interior was beautiful, especially the cell. The owner Marco was vers friendly and helpful. The disposition of the room with the bed was also perfect 👍.

Room was a bit dark without opening the windows -lighting not enough -no headlight . Wi-Fi was not strong in our room .the handle of the stairs was not very stable to go up to the bed .liquid for body wash/shampoo/soap was not good as a shampoo -it’s better if you bring yours .the room could be cleaned more detailed

Marco was really helpful & we could find him via whatsapp if needed . also he gave us many tips on a map . walking distance to everything - max 20 mins ( w did not use transportation ) . it has restaurants and bars near. supermarket and pharmacy are close too .bus stop to central train station is 1 min away at the corner . breakfast was nice-only sweet croissants though . room had a big refrigerator and hot water .comfortable bed .extra blankets if needed outlets next to the bed .
