Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Plenty of room and well equipped . Beds were comfortable! Centrally located! Corrinne was extremely helpful and available . She ordered a water taxi for us to go to airport and it picked us up one minute walking from the apartment. So convenient!

Great location, comfortable bed! Corinne was an amazing host, lots of communication throughout and helped us to book an airport transfer plus a gondola ride! The apartment has everything you need for a few nights stay.

United KingdomThere is nothing really the only thing was the TV had no signal but we didn’t need it. I also couldn’t work out how to use to AC unit but the Fans were fine.
The location was amazing, a few minutes walk to St Marks square and public transport links. The property was spacious, aplenty room in the bedrooms and the beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything you needed, was very handy there being tea, coffee, sugar, salt, toilet roll, hand wash and washing up liquid provided, saves you having to buy this for your stay, the only thing missing was dishwasher tables. The fans in the living area and bedrooms were great as it was hot and you definitely need them. The host, Corinne was very helpful and on hand to ask anything about the area while we were there and her communication and information about our stay was perfect she provided all the information we required and was very clear.

SingaporeThe checkout time is pretty early specially for Venice wherein it’s not very convenient to move around with bags. However, we could store our luggage so great thanks to the host. Suggest to leave instructions on how to use the washing machine and beds in second room were small for my big kids.
Super central location to San Marco square with all tour activities, water taxi stop and supermarket few minutes walk away. So excellent location and felt pretty safe in very busy Venice bustling with people. Very nice and friendly host , who answered all our questions and guided us well.
