charging spa we used the spa only for one hour due to arr. 7 pm (spa close at 8 pm ) so we used the spa less than 1 hour and for the next day we had to pay again 20 euros per person ,this is wrong so finally we didn't use the spa for the next day at all ! i was very disappointed

The indoor pool is a paid spa after 10am which I didn’t really realise until just prior to arrival. Something to be mindful if staying when it’s cold and outdoor pool isn’t open.

We absolutely loved our stay here & wish we had stayed longer. It has so many extra touches which really made the stay special. We used the free bikes to ride into and around town. The breakfast is next level amazing! We will be booking here when we return to Italy!

We found out too late on check out day the that the resort can offer guest pass for the area to visit and engage in many attractions. Definitely ask about this, the staff will be happy to help.

This was our first time visiting La Garda, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The customer service and staff was great. The facilities was very clean. And the breakfast was truly 10/10 with so much variety and quality food. The staff was consistently attentive any accommodations during our entire few weeks traveling in Italy. Further, on the day of checkout, we unfortunately left our wallet behind. When we realized, in a panic we called the Resort, and immediately they mobilize to go to the room to look for it for us, they took our loss seriously and made genuine effort to help us. They called us within the hour to inform us they have located it. And because it was a weekend, they needed till weekday to find shipping method so they can send it to us. I was worried they would forget about this and not get back to us, however they did not forget and reached out to let us know they will ship it right away. We are extremely grateful for attentiveness and extremely high level of customer service. Preparing nice room is one thing, but helping us in moment of trouble is above and beyond. Thank you @staff for your kindness to helping us. We are from abroad, and have travel in many places, Astoria Resort has been one of the best experiences for us and we hope we will have good fortune to visit again.

Not that we did not like it but I think items on their menu at the restaurant were a little overpriced. Also, they could provide one free access per stay to their spa.

Room was too hot during day and night. There was no way to adjust the temperature besides opening the window, but this way we would here the noise outside. (We were facing the street and a river) every night we had to struggle to cool ourselves and kids down. We had dinner once in the hotel, we waited in front of the reception but there was no staff coming to greet us even if they saw us. At the moment there was only one table with guests. After few minutes a staff came to us and told us we have to wait for 10mins for them to settle. With tiring kids we don’t have alternative but to wait. Otherwise we would have left already. Foods were in average and a bit over priced.

The staffs we met were all friendly and supportive. Location is not far from center (12-15mins walking). Breakfast was good with various selection. Our family room has big space for kids to play around.

We should have stayed longer Room was a little warm, AC wasn't working I think

The staff were so friendly and attentive, it was my partners birthday and they left us up a bottle of prosecco and small cake. We couldn't have been looked after better. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive. Everything from hot food to cold meats to Haribo gummy bears, they had it all. Aqua aerobics is on at 8:00 we joined in, it was lots of fun. The instructor was very good and was able to give instruction in English so we could follow.

The heavy celebrations on 1st January. We had a 3 year old and I couldnt sleep with the noise and smell of smoke coming through the doors! Also we were quite disappointed on how meat is cooked. It was never tender.

Hotel nicely decorated. Professional staff. Restaurant can be booked for the evenings. Family friendly. Entertainment every night during dinner. The staff became like family. Help was always offered. Requests were always met. Beautiful sunset views from the reception area. Organised activities in the hotel.

Only thing that disappointed us was Dinner...well steak was noooot good at all...i had burger that was raw inside, desert was awful ( apple strudel and ice cream).

The room was nice and clean, breakfast was excellent and tasty. spa was wonderful, i had pedicure and it was done perfectly, my husband had massages, he was very happy. Location is perfect just 5 minutes walk to town.

Our room was a bit small for 4 people and the additional beds for the kids were not comfortable. We did not have a light in the hallway. We also did not like that we had to pay for the spa an additional fee.

The hotel is amazing. We were there for Christmas and they have thought of a Christmas lunch (which was very tasty and with classic music) and other events for the kids. We also tried the spa, which was small, but it offered a whole experience with some products and tips what to do. The center of Riva del Garda is walking distance and wonderful for short walks. We also liked a lot the bakery, which is part of the hotel.

The air vent in the bathroom only works on scheduled time by them . So if you take a steamy shower or do your business it all stays there for hours . Very inappropriate .

Very clean. Also the extras , the hairdryer was amazing and water pressure in the bathroom unbelievable . Great for after the spa when you want to shower quickly and relax . Massive bed and super comfy .

The inhouse dinner restaurant is not adequate. It was a rainy day, we queued for 20 mins only to be then told we could not be seated for another hour (they could have told us right away).
