in breakfast could be a wider variety of food. the bathroom needs a modern hair dryer and a little stool or something for the bath equipment.

It was in a quiet place, the hotel was clean, staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Mosquitos! Lack of aircon meant window needed to be open. Apparently we weren’t the only ones as there were squished mosquitos on the wall from before our time!

The hotel building is too old. If you are someone who doesnt like old buildings then this place is not for you. If you are looking for a stay just to meet your basic needs, then you can consider this hotel. The breakfast was also too basic and their coffee machine is so old that it never gave us hot coffee :-

Room - I stayed twice in this hotel. Once for 3 days and once for a single night. The room that we got for 3 days was not so good. It was very very old and gave a very old shaddy vibe. I didnt like it much. The other room that I got for just 1 night was better and was renovated I guess.Also the view was nice as it faced the front of the hotel so from the window you can see outisde to a good view.

No lift for luggage so be prepared to carry suitcases upstairs. Older Villa so it’s not sound proof. We could hear the neighbours shower and bathroom noise and people walking and talking in the corridor, but we were in low season and still had a good sleep.

Great location. Ten minute walk to historical Florence. Continental breakfast each day. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking if you have a car.

A little bit far to walk to walk from centre on hot day but buses do operate in the area. A little bit expensive for what it is and where it is located, but apparently Florence doesn't really have a slow season and is busy all year round, so perhaps reasonable. There are no lifts, but staff will assist with luggage.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and I was able to check-in early. Booked economy room, but was upgraded, which was nice. Breakfast was good - continental buffet. Opposite parkland area and by the river if you want to be close to that but far enough from the busy areas. Close to the market, which you can walk to in 10mins, and has fruit and veg market stall plus restaurant/cafe's with italian food.

The breakfast could be a little more diverse, especially I missed some bread. Only white sliced bread and croissants were available. But you still get enough to start your day.

The location is great, about 20 min to the centre of the historic town (Ponte Vecchio). It is good that you can reserve a parking spot in the yard because leaving the car on the street is difficult and it might get damaged.

The Hotel is located at the river from where you can reach beautiful locations by feet. You also can take the bus which is no problem and a few minutes from the hotel. The communication and the stuff was also very nice and kind. Thank you.

The room it did not smell fresh and the coverlet was grungy. Although it might be the age of the building or the way the pluming is, the toilet did not flush well.

The breakfast area was nice and clean and many options for breakfast. The location was easy to find and to walk to areas of interest. The room was good with a nice street and river view. The staff were helpful and informative.

The bathroom was a little small for a tall person, but I only stayed for a couple of days so this didn't bothered me too much.

The reception was amazing, all the people there were willing to help. The room was clean and they cleaned every day, something that is very nice! The location is not so central, but it's a 10-minute walk from the historic center, so you are in an area that is clean and quiet, but not too far away from everything.

The staff was amazing. They helped us in all aspects on how to get around, where to go since we were from South Africa. The location was excellent and the breakfast got us through the day. Value for money.
